I'm shocked, its inexpensive but very well made. I'd have to say I think its real stainless steel. cut braid easily. holding up nicely in saltwater

I’m giving this 5 stars based on the pliers and the retractable lanyard, not so much for the sheath. The pliers appears to be well made, and is easy and comfortable to use. The lanyard is handy because it should prevent me from losing it, as was the case with my previous pliers.The sheath, on the other hand, was relatively useless as received. It’s a very flimsy mesh which makes it difficult, if not impossible to remove or re-insert the pliers. However, with a little modification, it now works as it should. As shown in the photo, I cut piece of gasket material to just the right size so that, when inserted into the sheath, it gives the sheath the necessary shape so that the pliers can easily be removed and replaced. A little spray adhesive before I inserted it, keeps the gasket material in place. I also added a slightly longer and stronger piece of Velcro to hold the pliers more securely in the sheath. It took only a few minutes and was well worth it, because, now, at least, it’s a great combo at a great price.

The sheath is horrible waste of time. I like the style of the pliers but we will see how they hold up for the money can't beat it.

I bought this to replace yet another set of pliers that fell into the ocean. I like rock fishing and I’m clumsy. The main thing that drew me to this was the case and leash, but this is the best set of fishing pliers I’ve used. It does everything I need it to and all I do to care for it is run it under some fresh water at the end of a session.

Small and light. Great for the money.

I have had no problems getting hooks out of trout mouths. Great pliers for the money.

I like the multi-purpose aspect of this product, and it will work for my purpose. The build quality is mediocre as are the materials. I don’t expect them to last for a long they are fine for the price.

The item arrived wet and rusty in parts. Overall it does what I need it to do but not sure how it got so wet when the outside was dry.. the belt hook doesn’t work.. but the quality of the pliers is not bad.

The pliers are fine but the shelth it cam with is black not blue camo

I have received damaged product. Also, product was wet and water was there. Strange!!
