I only put this case on when I am going somewhere and I am afraid my phone won't last. You do have to charge it by itself, not with the phone in the cradle. However, it does charge fast. It's not to bulky for a battery case. I have had 3 different ones on 2 different phones and this case delivers a good fast charge.

I love it, It works great, if you plan on being away from a car/home charger then this would work great, but just for a quick charge to keep you working until you get in the car or back home! So I totally say its a good buy, plus its inexpensive.... Good for someone on a budget!!!!

In terms of functionality...I love the battery case,but I do have some minor issues with it. The instructions state that when charging, the phone will charge first and then the pack,but it is actually the opposite. The description for the color says gold,but it is more rose gold than gold. My phone is gold so I notice the difference. The other thing that is a HUGE problem for me is the fact that in order to plug my headphones into the phone I have to take the case off. I was able to force some headphones in earlier,but I then realized that I had three hair line fractures in the case around the headphone plug....

It's ok for the money if your gentle but the is hard plastic,it's to easy to break the corners becomes No good after that happens,doesnt protect the phone well.

I find that the standby is short in lay over time and the actual charge mode is used up quickly but you can't beat the price

Love my gold edge and this case allows me to see it.I drop my phone sometimes, with no breakage.

The Case fits perfectly...BUT it did NOT charge my phone ever.. I have to return it.. it should be checked before it is sold!
