I'm 69 and my wrists are not the best from playing tennis all my life -- well, most of it now. This brace was recommended by my doctor and it really works well. I use it while driving too. The aluminum palm stiffener can be shaped to fit your needs to relieve pain. Just bend it so the hand is held at whatever angle is best for you.

I have mderate carpel tunnel and use several other brands that work ok but and they all have clunky protruding strabs. This one has smooth non obtrusive straps that fit snug & comfortable for sleeping or wearing daytime,especially when wearing a long sleeve shirt.

The splint is easy to use and comfortable to wear. It also is easy to wash and dries quickly. The only problem that I found was that it has good support to prevent flexion but the soft neoprene wrap doesn't prevent overextension as well. I am now 5 days post-op from carpal tunnel release surgery and today my dogs were excited to go for a run and ran into my hand causing some over extension. After washing the splint today, I put a Mueller short arm splint on that I had previously purchased on Amazon and found that it is stiffer and would have prevented the overextension. I am now going to use it instead during the rest of my recovery.

This is the brace my ortho recommended. They bill in office around $60 plus. It is the exact brace used for various issues and the comfort far exceeds what was provided by urgent care.

I tried many different kinds of hand/wrist braces in the past and this one is by far the best. Was recommended by a new hand doctor that I recently saw for arthritis. Had no chaffing or pain. It is a little bulky and when you put on a jacket or sweater you have to take it off. It also snagged some of my clothes from the Velcro so I’m trying to figure out how to work around that. It still is worth it cause it gives me stability but not feel totally immobile.

Easy to put on and they stay put. Over watch that monitors my sleep works out fine. They do keep wrist in place and are unnoticeable while sleeping. For me they get a little bit warm during the night but ok tradeoff for keeping wrist in place. I wear one on each hand nightly.

I already had one of these for the other hand and when the second wrist started giving me trouble I decided on the same brand. Why not, it works well, fits my small hand and wrist great, and the bar is semi bendable for fit. So much easier to use full Velcro over straps with Velcro and buckles. I wouldn't switch back to the other style, now this is available.
