Spellbinders S5-152 Shapeabilities Expandable Patterns Fancy Lattice Die Templates

This lattice die is absolutely beautiful. It is so versatile in how many ways you can use it on cards. This one is very intricate so can be time consuming to remove all paper piece from the die. I use wax paper with this die which helps some in the removal of the "paper chads". Since I use the Cuttlebug with thin dies, I have to use a various shims with this one since it's more difficult to get cut evenly.

I've been wanting this die for a very long time and finally purchased it. SO GLAD I PURCHASED IT!!! It is a beautiful intricate die. It is a MUST DO to put wax paper between the die and the paper you are cutting or you will have a difficult time getting the paper to release from the die. It works great if you use the wax paper.

Love the cut once it is cut out. I had to play with it a few times to get it to cut out all the way. It wouldn't cut out all the way on each end. Once I found the right shim thickness it cut out as it should. All the little pieces came out farely well. What was left in was easily removed. I think it is worth the extra effort to shim it and remove the pieces. I look forward to including this on my cards in the near future. I have seen it used in some lovely cards. Just hate having to shim some of these dies. So this isn't the only one.

Hey...honestly, I don;t hate the die itself, I just hate that it is not cutting in my cuttlebug. I've seen many cards created with this die, unfortunately, I cannot get this beauty to cut more than the first row at the top and the bottom. I have a few other intricate spellbinder dies that are doing the same thing, and no matter how I shim by increasing it's thickness and attempted to re-cut the dies on card-stocks, they just won't cut.!!!

Very pretty die if you can get it to cut out. Ran it thru my cuttlebug several times adding shims and with wax paper as suggested...still did not work properly. Only cut out part of the die. Very disappointed.

All Spellbinder dies are wonderful. This one makes a really beautiful background. You can leave some of the cutouts in for a different look.

I really like the look of the diecut; however, I have not yet been able to get one out without it tearing and/or being stuck in the die. I will try to do it next time with wax paper, which I saw a tip for.

I have a Big Shot and this die did not want to cut all the way through. I ended up getting a replacement from the company and it still did not cut all the way through. Anyway my husband and I played with it a while and got it to cut like it should. I did not have a shim so made my own just putting several layers of card stock in between the two acrylic plates. Worked perfectly. Remember to use wax paper on your card stock it will make those intricate cut piece come off easily, but you'll still have the small pieces on the die itself,but so worth it because the results a gorgeous.

This die is beautiful. It works ok. Sometimes you need to manually remove some of the cuts pieces if you only pass the die once in the die cutting machine. I used a extra paper in my sandwich and it worked better. It is hard to clean because all the little pieces will stay in the die. it may be time consuming for someone who is doing many cards at the same time (like with any complex die) but I will use it only for one or two cards at the time.
