Yes, the Vanquish 540 does have wireless capability. Though it only includes wired headphones in the pack. If you buy the 540 Pro-Pack, it does include Minelab ML80 Wirless Headphones, and an extra (V8) coil.

Does this machine detect Gold?

Can you connect apple AirPods to the minelab 540?

The Vanquish 540 uses Bluetooth for wireless audio connection. Apple uses their own wireless technology, so AirPods won't work. The 540 should work with standard Bluetooth headphones, but you will need low-latency ones, or you will get a lag which leads to targets being misplaced.
