I bought the Hush Puppies Men’s Jasper, and at first I was extremely happy with them. The fit was perfect right out of the box, true to size, and they were very comfortable with great cushioning. They quickly became my everyday shoes because they felt so lightweight and easy to wear. However, after about 12 months of regular use, the sole developed a hole, which was disappointing considering how comfortable they are. I expected the durability to be a bit better for the price. Overall, these shoes are fantastic in terms of comfort and fit, but the lifespan of the sole could use improvement.

I think I have had at least three pairs of these over many years, these are a solid Moccasin which fit perfectly and are well made - hence why I buy them. The colour (I chose brown) is a lovely tan colour which suits these. These are also very easy to slip on/off and unlike some, can actually be worn with socks if needed (although I wouldn't long term). At £30 these are very great value and look great for casual wear. Recommended

I'd had a pair of Hush Puppies Thomas loafers before these. I wore them nearly every day for year and years. Supremely comfortable, but also great quality. They'd get mucky looking and a wipe a coat of Renapur would have them looking smart enough again. Probably the best shoes I've ever had in terms of all round comfort and quality. Sadly they're not available and this was about the closest I could find. The looks are not quite to my taste, but each to their own etc. They're comfortable (I stuck in the same insoles I'd used in my previous loafers as I need a little more arch support). Lightweight and easy to wear. I bought sizes 11 and 12 initially, as I'm in between these days and found the 12 better. The quality is, however, really poor compared to previous Hush Puppies. I've worn these most days for 7 months, but most days I work from home so they've not exactly had a hard life. The leather has a slightly non-smooth quality, which is perhaps intentional, but means that treating them in the same way as I do my "proper" leather shoes is not the same. They just don't come up the same and darken a bit as the surface is somewhat absorbent. The mixture of materials is also much harder to maintain. After just seven months of quite light use, one has split. I'm careful with all my stuff and don't just stuff feet into slip-ons. I always put them on carefully. I might just have been unlikely with some duff stitching, but overall they just seem like a cost-cut shadow of what Hush Puppies were.

This is my second pair of Jaspers. I love them for travelling as they are roomy and easy to slip on and off. I ordered my usual size and the fit was spot on. My last pair wore through the soles pretty quick though, quicker than other similar shoes I own.

Disappointing. With light wear and standard surface conditions these lasted only 5 months. Seams started to undo and by the end of wearing the side elastics were parting company with the shoe material. Not well finished if you look carefully, and defects in the construction begin to appear quite quickly.

These are nice quality shoes, but as others have said a bit narrow! However, I persevered and wore them a few times and they loosened up. I'm glad I did because they are nice shoes for the price! They do have a slight ridge in the middle of the insole where the padding changes for the end of your foot, but it's barely noticeable.
