USB charge cord
I was able to locate a USB charge cord through Amacon at California Design and now I use the cam camera through this cord instead of the cigarette outlet.

Works well keeps power to my nexar dash cam. Length was correct it was cheap.

Power Only-Yay!
Excellent, apparently hard to find power ONLY cord for USB-powered devices that: 1) require a USB Mini connector, and 2) go into data transfer mode with a 'normal' data-capable USB cable. In my experience the recent Garmin DriveSmart automotive navigators are among these devices. Use of a data-capable cable to power these units disables their primary navigation functions. Why this should be so is a perplexing - all my prior Garmin units worked just fine using a data cable. Ironically, my Garmin dashcams *can use* a data cable... go figure.

Works as expected
The charging cord is long and allows my dash cam to record my driving as well as those that are driving around me.
