Great for cool LED lights. I just applied this product to new lights inside my glass cabinet. The light is already a soft LED light, but it was just too bright for the look I was trying to achieve. I used two layers on each light, and they are now perfect in a muted soft light.

My mother-in-law recently had a new above sink kitchen light installed. The 32" light replaced an older 20" and being LED it was considerably brighter & bigger to the point that the brightness was overwhelming. I bought this to apply over the LED's to reduce the brightness. It worked - I needed to add 2 layers of material to tone down the light to a brightness level that was acceptable. The problem is that these are marketed as "White Dims", but the lighting hue went from bright white to a dull yellow. The light was advertised as 5000K temperature, and was quite white & bright out of the box, but once the White Dims sheets were applied the light now looks far more yellow than any of the 3000K light bulbs she has in her home. So we needed to make a decision about what to do - the duller light with the two layers of tape won out as the bright LED's were just too much, but I am not happy that the sheets are marketed as "White" when they change to overall color and hue so dramatically. If I had the time I would have looked for another product. I would caution anyone that plans to use this to beware of the color shift! If you light a bright white (4500k or 5000K) look, this may not make you happy.

My wife installed in lights that were too bright. They now are much better. I would just like them to be a bit wider.

We had a new shower installed with two small LED lights in the ceiling. They lights were blinding, but two layers of LightDims dimmed them to the perfect brightness. I took the LED fixtures apart to install the LightDim film but I believe they would work just as well on the outer lens.

The installation is easy and mostly takes the LED Glare away. I did want it to take more of the glare away. I did my research and watched numerous other reviews on Youtube and these are the option.

I was looking for something simple and cheap to eliminate the glare from my otherwise great LED ceiling light. This did the trick. Easy to cut to size and easy to apply, and should last the life of the light.

Used on our just a tad too bright LED uplighter. Just one layer did the trick. Perfect! The beauty of this product is that you can apply multiple layers to get the effect you need
