Update! It did take a few attempts and a negative review from me but customer support reached out to me via email and sent a new unit as it was still under warranty. Nancy was very friendly and asked for screenshots of the emails I sent so they could troubleshoot, hopefully that area improves as the product itself is excellent. It worked very well for us and I will likely order a second unit now that the warranty issue and lack of communication has been resolved in this situation. If you are looking for exceptional customer service then I would choose another product. I purchased this product last November, it comes with a year warranty, it suddenly stopped working in October of this year. I have reached out to customer service weekly since it stopped working to inquire on a reset or possible replacement. I have not received any communication back at all which is frustrating and the only way I have found to contact is by an email directly linked on their Amazon page. Overall the product worked well until it suddenly quit and if customer service had reached back out to any of my attempts to email then I wouldn’t have left a negative review but seeing as they have not provided any communication at all it would appear that they don’t honor their warranty so if customer service and warranties are important to yuh then I would keep scrolling for a different product.

I bought two of these for my kids bedrooms and I bought the bigger one for by Bedroom w/master bath. These work amazing! Our house is built really well which is awesome but then it allows moisture to build up due to everything sealed and no air flow. I started to notice mositure in the windows of the kids bedroom and creating a bit of mold. I was so tired of constantly cleaning the windows every other day and wiping the moisture away everyday. I don't know why I never thought of this sooner. I got these and they sit PERFECTLY on their window sill and there is no more moisture build up which means no more mold either, yayyy!!!! They are really quiet too. My kids have no problem sleeping with it on and it turns red when it's full. The kids like to dump it out themselves since it's not very often 😆 Love this product and my bigger one I got from this same company is AMAZING too!

This was a great dehumidifier that was GOOD when it was working… It did its job and was able to remove humidity and moisture as I had to empty out the water once a week. It has a safety shut off mechanism where the magnetic detector knows when the moisture tank is full and it shuts off and blinks until the user removes the excess water. It has a great service life for the purchase price, and recently became inoperable (NOT WORKING) after three years. Wish there was a way to repair unit after three years as recently, the unit does not turn on due to the fact that the magnetic mechanism has deteriorated with wear and tear with RUST, so that it does not enable to Unit to power on to dehumidify as usual. Hopefully the manufacturer reads this and improves the product inexpensively protect the magnetic mechanism to ensure longevity for the unit to operate… Otherwise, this was a great purchase, but I regret that it has became inoperable, and the longer works after three years… Seavon, please take note of feedback to improve the product for longevity in ownership for the end users. Three years of operability was decent but you guys can do better. Please let the engineers at the factory know. Thank! Seavon #3

Updated review, Feb 2025: I ran this 24-hours per day (constantly) in a large walk-in closet, and it did a decently good job of pulling the moisture out of the air. It was practically silent and did what it was supposed to do for about 3 months, and then out of no-where it unexpectedly started making a constant, loud, clanking noise. It was like a part inside wore out or something. It also stopped working at that point -- meaning it continued to make the loud clanking noise, but it stopped dehumidifying. So, it was completely useless. I attempted to try and take it apart to see if it was something I could fix, but it doesn't come apart. So, I had to just throw it away since it died. It was cheaply built and didn't last long, so don't waste your money. October 2024 review right after I received it: As expected, this is a very small dehumidifier, which is what I wanted. I only needed it for my 120 sq. ft. bedroom. It's been running for 48 hours straight (2 days), and there's just shy of 1 cup of water in the reservoir. That means it's pulling about 1/2 cup of water per day. It's definitely better than nothing, and I got it on a Prime sale so it was very inexpensive, so I'll keep it, but it's not going to make much of a dent in the humidity and this rate. I can imagine if you used this in a VERY small space (like a tiny bathroom or a closet) that it might be okay, but it's just not big enough to do much in a bedroom. A plus is that it's practically silent -- very quiet!

UPDATE: Year 2 still going strong hand keeping my crawl space dry! I had encapsulated my crawl space, but I didn’t want to install a large dehumidifier. My cabin is just 320 sq ft; so, I figured that a room dehumidifier would be sufficient. I had doubts that it would work because crawl spaces can get pretty humid during summer. But boy, was I pleasantly surprised! This little dehumidifier is super efficient, but most importantly it is TOUGH! It helped keep the crawl space dry, even on super humid days . The wood from the floor joists were BONE DRY! Because of this, there is absolutely no mildewy smell in my crawl space. I bought a second one just in case this one would give out, but, no, it kept going strong without a problem, 24 HOURS PER DAY, day after day. I just couldn’t believe how strong and efficient this little dehumidifier was. Just to note, like with everything else, it has to be cared for. But maintenance is super easy, just common sense: keep the reservoir clean and check the vents for dust and debris (since in my case it’s in the crawl space). I am very happy with this product! I absolutely love it! Worth every penny!

The reason I returned the product was because it was too small for my place, but the quality was good. I was very surprised the service for return.... What a great seller ! you can trust... The seller's reply wasn't delayed and solve the problem quickly. Thank you.

Doesn't help to reduce humidity in a room so most likely this is only effective in small confined spaces. We are talking about tropics humidity level of above 70% so there is a lot of moisture to remove in the air.

surprisingly power adapter was missing. very bad overall build quality. not a value for money product at all.
