This product comes in pre-packaged tea bags but inside it has unevenly roasted barley and a lot of small broken pieces of barley and who knows what else. Whenever I boil them it leaves a residue of something on the bottom of my pot. This doesn't happen with another brand that I pictured for comparison. This brand is evenly roasted and tastes like it supposed to. This product has an off taste. It might be from some of the barley being burnt.

I’ve consumed a lot of roasted barley tea before and this tea definitely had a spoiled taste. It wasn’t all the tea bags in the box but it was a large percentage of them. They had a rancid aftertaste. I only used one of the two boxes that came with my order I’m throwing what’s left of the first box and all of the second box away. I do not recommend this product.

This is the only brand of barley tea that I drink. Flavorful even when cold brewed for the summer heat. I've tried a Japanese brand before and the flavor barely touch this.

The price was reasonable; however I do not find that it has a strong barley taste as other brands I've had.
