Sturdy bag, good value
Pleasantly surprised by the quality and sturdiness of this product - definitely good value for the money. The thickness gave me confidence that the bag wouldn’t break apart like some of the thinner bags I’ve used in the past. Very useful for lining small trash cans. The bags were also fairly easy to “open” (some plastic bags are so thin that it is hard to open them up for use).

Verdict still out

Solution to the Foolish Recyclable Trash bag Legislation
Local government outlawed thin plastic grocery bags arguing them to being environmentally bad for a variety of reasons as not being recyclable. I always recycled mine, using them as loose trach holders (trash bags) for my garbage, which this same environmentally cognizant Legislature told us we needed to stuff our garbage into before setting it out for the trash hauler. The store's answer to this consumer dilemma was to put groceries and clothes into thicker plastic shopping bags were were labeled as "Reusable." Funny thing is, I've never seen a customer bring those bags back to the store to reuse them, defeating the claim to reduce waste going into our landfills.Well, after running out of the last om supply of the old type plastic bags I had to find something to put my animal waste into (another mandated environmental restriction) I went looking for "T-shirt" bags online and found these which are 1 mill thicker and 1/2 inch dimensionally larger than standard T-Shirt bags. Now I only have to use 1 bag instead of double bagging my pet's encrement. Great buy for the purpose! Also, being black, the contents don't show!
