This is actually a Bluetooth 4.X Device, not 5.0?
tl;dr: The 1Mii is an upgrade over stock Windows 10 Bluetooth drivers and laptop built-in bluetooth junk, but doesn't offer any Bluetooth 5.0 performance.**Tested with ISOTunes Free Bluetooth 5.0 Earbuds***The built-in Bluetooth functionality on my Windows 10 laptop is garbage; this 1Mii adapter functions much better than the built-in Windows 10 functionality. That said, I haven't seen any evidence that this device is actually a Bluetooth 5.0 device. You can see from my screenshot, the 1Mii driver doesn't allow audio quality above 16-Bit/48kHz. AptX HD support (as advertised) would allow 24-bit audio support, and is one of the benefits of Bluetooth 5.0.Another cornerstone of Bluetooth 5.0 is the approx 4x increase in range supported. Using the 1Mii adapter, I have not found any increase in range over the built-in Bluetooth 4.X hardware in my laptop. Finally, when testing the microphone of my Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds with the 1Mii adapter, the people I was speaking to found the quality of the mic to be degraded and extremely quiet. Bluetooth 5.0 is supposed to remedy this issue that existed with Bluetooth 4.X. My ISOTunes Free Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds have great mic sound quality when paired with my bluetooth 40 cell phone. So my takeaway is that the microphone audio quality with the 1Mii adapter isn't as good as a bluetooth 4.0 cell phone connection. Conclusion: For as expensive as this adapter is, I could have probably achieved similar performance from a much cheaper "Bluetooth 4.0" adapter. The 1Mii adapter doesn't appear to offer Bluetooth 5.0 functionality.

Unable to change default format from 16 bit (aptx HD supports 24 bit)
I was looking forward to this a lot but when I finally did get it working, windows wouldn't allow me to set the default format to anything above 16 bit, or "DVD Quality". AptX HD is supposed to support 24 bit.

Works with Sony WH-H900N
I wanted to use my Sony WH-H900N in a headset mode on my Windows 10 desktop at work. I previously used the Sabrent Bluetooth 4.0 nano receiver that worked fine for music but I never managed to make it work in a headset mode. I don't think it was the receiver's problem but rather 4.0 protocol limitations with newer headphones. This Mii receiver works just fine. It is a truly plug and play solution. I can use my headphones with Teams or Zoom, the mic works and sound is crisp. It even seems to switch from headset to music mode automatically - when I am on the call the led blinks blue, when I switch to music only the led has solid green color (aptx-HD).A word of warning: I hoped that the receiver will show up as a Bluetooth device in Windows so I can use it generally with any Bluetooth device (mouse, phone, etc.). The Sabrent receiver worked like that. The Mii device shows up as another sound card, Windows does not recognize it as a Bluetooth device. Also the pairing process is done using a physical button on the receiver, not via Windows Bluetooth pairing process as usually. This is not a problem for me but may be a deal breaker for some.So far no issues after several weeks and tenths of calls. I have not tried pairing multiple headphones yet.

A great aptX HD dongle and a big upgrade from default Windows Bluetooth
First of all, this is a huge improvement over Window's built in Bluetooth. For some reason Microsoft has made it that if you want to use your wireless headphones' built in microphone, you have to connect it as a "Headset", which downgrades the quality of the audio drastically (this is due to there not being enough bandwidth to handle an audio in and an audio out stream, if I recall correctly). With this adapter though, you can get great (aptX HD) audio quality AND use the microphone at the same time. This alone makes this adapter worth it.The adapter also lets you switch between aptX HD and LL (low latency) by pressing the button.Using and setting this adapter up is also easy. Plug it in, hold the button on the adapter for a second, and then put your Bluetooth device in pairing mode. After that, set your computer's audio input and output to "1Mii Audio" and you're good to go! A quick note, after I set it up initially, only the left audio channel was working (no sound in my right headphone), this was quickly fixed though by unplugging and replugging in the adapter. I assume there was a glitch when the computer was setting up the drivers, as I have not had any issues since.

Good Bluetooth 5.0
I use this just for playing music, as it seems that's all the support Bluetooth 5.0 has. Besides, I really wouldn't know because I don't use Bluetooth otherwise. My TWS earphone can handle AptX. I think I connected. Not really sure, but the sound quality coming through is quite good. Connecting process is easy, provided you don't have another Bluetooth source presence. I had to turn Bluetooth off on my phone for my earphone to connect to this. Otherwise, so far, it's all good.

Great sound quality with little fuss.
If you want something that just works, then you'll want this. I wanted Bluetooth audio for my computer. I was a little skeptical at first but I plugged it in and it stunned my headphones without a problem. Great range, sounds quality is beautiful. It only does audio so it had plenty of bandwidth. I used one with my PC and my MacBook.

Not what I needed
Seems to be a good product for connecting high end headphones however did not work for connecting audio to my tv. I believe this has to do with the tv itself, and not the device.
