My son loves it. Got it for Christmas. Such a great looking sword. Perfect for playing pretend but heavy enough to make it feel real. Fun to play with. My son whacks it on everything and it's held up well, pretty durable. However the tip is starting to flake as well as the paint.I imagine these fake weapons are more for costumes and lapping. Like D&D.The size is fantastic, long like a sword should be.It was pretty expensive for me, but the quality is worth it in my opinion.

Bought this for my 11 year old son who loves AOE and all things historical. The sword is heavy compared to other LARP swords I've used. It's awesome looking, the color and detail are just as pictured. It seems really sturdy but it's a bit on the rubbery side. I'm guessing that the unusually heavy blade coupled with the rubbery material it's made of, to be why the blade tends to bend (side to side). You'll notice it just swinging the sword lazily through the air which makes it a bit difficult to control while sparring. It's very sturdy and holds up to blows with other larp weapons really well. The bounce/bend in the blade isn't obnoxious but I'm knocking a star off for that because it's a bit annoying. But if you plan to use it for cosplay or just to hang on the wall, then this thing is PERFECT. Again, it's plenty sturdy enough for LARP and backyard battles but that's when you'll notice the blade issue. Overall it's a really cool sword.

The sword is abit too large to be a viking sword and the handle is slightly too large for comfort. Basically the mold use to make this item is just too large.Beyond that it is a decent foam sword with some slight floppage and no hard edges.The hand could use some reinforcement.

Feels realistic and weighty without being overly heavy. Looks legit. Metal blade portion is foam that is coated in not nearly as metallic paint as pictured yet still looks very real. Perhaps in person that’s why it’s more realistic, because it’s not overly perma-shiny and a dead giveaway it isn’t real metal, with light playing off it with normal movement? Sized for an adult, not a small child. Our 14 year old is 5’6 and needed a Viking sword for his Halloween costume and this didn’t disappoint. Great price for what you get. Very happy with it.

Just received this. Looks very real. Good quality, lightweight. Will be terrific for a Vikings cosplay.
