MEKU Men's Wood Wrist Watch Quartz Day Date Wooden Watch Gift

This is my first wood watch. I like the lightness of the watch, and of course, unique nature of the product. Band was easy to adjust with basic tools, however, be advised that the pins are different from the cotter pin style used in metal bands. Be careful not to loose the small retainers on the small end of the pin. Also, the only adjustment is to remove links, there is no fine adjustment on the buckle, so for me, I had to remove two links, resulting in a slightly too tight feel, rather than a too loose feel with only one link removed. I fault this particular watch for its multifunction sub dials, which are functional but basically useless because they are extremely difficult to read do to the small gradations and color similarities. They do however, make for an interesting face design. I will probably purchase other wood watches, but go with more basic face designs that highlight the wood grain.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend for Valentine's day and I was extremely impressed with it. It's so amazing I'm not even sure where to begin explaining why I(and my boyfriend) love it.First, the watch itself is gorgeous. The stain on it is impeccable... Very even, rich colors. The metal on the face was very highly polished. My boyfriend also really enjoyed the lightweight feel. The only downside is that it's a bit complicated to remove a link to tighten the band, but this doesn't diminish the 5 star rating.The packaging is incredible. It comes in a wooden box with a lid that slides open. Inside the box is the watch wrapped around a cute little pillow. It looks so elegant and classy without a huge price tag. I don't know if they did it on purpose or if it was luck, but it was set to the correct date (not the right time, but oh well). It was supposed to arrive on the 15th, but arrived at my home on the 14th which totally made the day. Bravo, if I ever need a men's watch again the first place I will look is with this company.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I bought the watch as a present for my father. I bought the watch about a month before his birthday; I knew it was something he would love as soon as I saw it, so I had to buy it right away so I wouldn't miss the chance. Well, the watch is beautiful and looks very elegant and expensive. The presentation of the watch is fantastic as well. But, the watch doesn't work. I thought maybe the battery was dead and it had sat around for awhile before I bought it, so I took it to my jewelers to have a new battery installed. Well, the battery isn't the issue; they told me the set lever on the crown was broken and would cost more than the watch was worth to fix it. I didn't think it was that big of a deal though, everyone gets a dud product every once in a while; so I went to send it back and get a replacement. They won't let me send it back, they said they can only accept an item back within the first 30 days. The only reason it was more than 30 days was because I didn't want to miss the chance to buy it as a present. So to anyone reading this, don't buy this watch. It might work when you first get it, maybe, but if anything ever happens to it you'll be buying it again because the company knows their products don't last more than a month and therfore don't offer an extended warranty.

The watch itself is very nice looking and comes exactly as the picture looks. Very lightweight and my husband loved it as a gift. However, we have had 2 defective watches. The first one, the clasp was completely rusted and the wood finish was not evenly proportioned, leaving part of the band with no finish. I returned it and reordered. The second watch was fine until after a few weeks of wear the second-hand popped off and just dangled inside the watch face. And my husband is not a rough guy nor did he wear the watch during any type of physical activity. We will probably not repurchase the watch. Which is sad bc we both really liked the style.

This is a beautiful watch. I get compliments on it very often and it stays on without problems.The only issue, which I have with all wooden watches, is that its such a pain to adjust the pins, especially without breaking the wooden sections. It is possible, but you might scream while doing it if you don't have professional watch adjusting tools. If you want to save yourself the pain, I hear that your local jeweler can help.All in all, I love this watch.

The watch arrived on time and in a nice wooden box, the watch was every thing i expected .the wife was thrilled with the look, as she also has a wood watch ,and thought mine was nicer then hers. The only draw back was it had no instructions on how to set the hands on the watch ,but a few minutes working with it i had it set .When you have other watches with multiple hands they all seem to set the same IN ALL A VERY NICE WATCH

Just received this watch. It did not come with instructions or extra links.It took a while to figure out how to align the day, date and 24 hour dials but it worked out. I'm bringing it to a watch repair to adjust the links. I've done it with my metal bands but this one is tough. Very attractive watch however.

Beautifully crafted unique watch given as a gift. Great for office wear; many positive comments. Probably not for gardening or snow shoveling unless you aren't worried about the wood patina changing. Also, the watch is a bit water-resistant but not water-proof, so be aware. Really elegant!
