Works perfectly for prebaking pie crusts. The container they arrive in is attractive, sturdy and reusable. My quiche has never turned out better.

Ordered these pie weights to try and prevent pie crust from shrinking and/or bubbling up when pre baked crusts are needed. I was amazed at how well they work. I put a layer of parchment paper directly on top of the crust, then pour in the pie weights. Works great and makes cleanup easy

Manufacturer uses the same size container for the 1.2 and 2 pound containers. Economically smart.But for the 2 pound container, you can’t get all the ceramic balls repacked to fit the container.Not so smart. If they made the container a half inch or even a quarter inch taller there wouldn’t be a problem. These ceramic balls retain the heat and work very well.

Throw out your dried beans… these things work great. Just wash them before first use.

2nd time I've purchased these. Needed more and this is a great brand. It makes for a wonderful blind bake pie crust. I highly recommend.

Great little stones and saves me wasting rice or dried peas/ beans. A little dusty out of the pack so give them a good rinse first.
