The Ultimate PS3(tm) Repair Guide

Great book, I was able to fix my (Light of death) problem in about a 2 hours, the time to open fix it and put it back together, instruction clear.Can also have video on YOUTUBE how to fix it,,,, but the book show very well how to open step by step the PS3 and do it right. Worth the money, I was thinking people in repair shop ask me $80 to $100 to fix it. So the book is great, and teach about many problem can have with PS3 and how to fix them. And basicaly it is good to learn how it work and how to fix it. You do it once you can do it a hundred time. I say spend less money, do it youself, when you know you know it for life. Ans save money and time,,,, no need to wait a week for repair shop to fix it.I say $80 or $100 is too much to fix that,,,,,, do it yourself. Buy the book!

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He's taken apart and "repaired" 2 different PS3 units. Just figured this would be a good way to alleviate my frustrations and his when attempting to fix a unit. He's got a natural knack for this and I think this will definately improve his skills. Nice pics to go a long with instructions. good for a do it yourselfer who can't seem to get the message to take the unit back to the store.

Everything is accompanied by detailed pictures and excellent instructions. Well researched and written. I would recommend this book to beginner or expert.Have fun

Had a pair of PS3 systems laying around, purchased this book with the idea that it was "The Ultimate Repair Guide"... its not. Most of the book is writen like a dissasembly manual and hardly shows any methods of diagnosis. Some of the book is copied and pasted into later chapters. Anything information in this book is easily found by watching any of the generic youtube videos on the subject. I want to know what is wrong, not just how to take it a part.

Book is very informative but does not cover every scenerio possible. I emailed the author for support on a problem not covered in the book but he would not reply. Thats the thanks I get from him for purchasing his book!

Its a great book to have specially on a Kendal app. ( ebook) when you want to learn to save money in your entertainment device. You also have UTube.Thanks

Good book and it does go into detail on how to repair the older PS3 box. No more crying about the red/yellow light of death on this system. You can fix it!

No board diagrams or anything like that. Not very helpful
