Schwarzkopf Keratin Color Permanent Hair Color Cream, 5.6 Warm Mahogany(Packaging May Vary)

I have a lot of grey coming in and this color holds up for an entire month. It is definitely the best box color I have ever used. I don’t get a lifting color so it is very conditioning. I love the color and it leaves my hair feeling soft. I was a cosmetologist and I recommend this over professional only products.

I would just like to let all you girls out there know that if you have natural brown to dark brown hair color that this is not the color for you. It did not turn my hair, purple or red so that’s a good thing, however, it did cover my grays, don’t know for how long because I just did it tonight, but I actually used one and a half bottles on my hair I have medium thin hair, but it is to my shoulder blades I would just like to let you know that my hair is still brown, it covered the grays, but just turned my hair a darker shade of brown. I am 54 years old and I was looking for getting somewhat of a red head affect, and natural redhead affect, instead I ended up with just darker brown hair, but the good thing is my grays are covered for the moment.

I had been using L'Oreal Preference Dark Ash Brown for the last 20 years until they "improved" their formula and it went from dark ash brown to dark brownish reddish orange!! I was really upset thinking I would never find another dark ash brown that wouldn't turn my hair red or black, but Schwarzkopf did the trick!! It's always a little too dark until the first wash or two, but I couldn't be happier!! I did not feel the need to use the pre-color serum that came with the package and it turned out great without it. The gray coverage is actually much better than L'Oreal and the formula is drier and more cream like, which I thought I would hate, but it actually caused less mess and drips, so I'm happy. I do think if you have really long hair like mine, it is worth using 2 boxes at a time.

This product is trash. I followed the directions to a tee and it did nothing. I feel like my roots are even more visible now. 🤦🏾‍♀️ It also smelled horrible!

Best hair color I have ever used. I like my hair to be dark, ash brown and this totally delivered. After 2 months, the color is just as deep and ash as the day I applied it. Every other ash brown I have used, and there have been many, all turn coppery by the end of the first month. I did not have to switch to a color protecting shampoo or conditioner either. I’ll never use another box dye again!
