Too tight, not 84mm, won't fit properly my MB Sprinter. Pay a few $ more for one that fits
I measured it with a micrometer and the faces are 83.4mm pitch, not 84mm.So, with a bit of pushing I can get it only slightly - and very tightly! - onto the Sprinter 84mm/14-sided oil filter cap. BUT then I can't get it off without using a mole wrench to grip the socket connector, then wiggling and pulling at the same time. I guess I could have left it there as someone else said, but if it vibrated off and fell... . .Bottom line; very sturdy and it got the job done with a little difficulty. Why don't they just make it the RIGHT SIZE?!!!

Great value.
Perfect fit for my ml320 diesel. I just left it on the filter cap for the next LOF. Snug fit so it’s not going to slip when unscrewing and won’t fall off.

Poor quality socket
I purchased this socket to remove the fuel filter cover on Mercedes Sprinter vans. It almost fits. It may be the finish that makes it too tight.
