Genius invention
This monitor fits the laptop really well. Clear directions printed in the lid so you will always have them handy. Great idea. Easy setup and very secure feeling. Had slow delivery due to Covid19 shipping disruptions but seller was very communicative. Had a question about one feature (the stabilizing extra unit). Again seller quickly answered question that we do not need that part unless we are not attaching the monitor to the laptop. Made perfect sense because the monitor does not need extra help to stay put while attached to the laptop monitor. Extremely lightweight. Definitely will be able to travel with this unit. Just an overall brilliant addition to working from home when you are used to working with two monitors at work. Would definitely recommend to friends and buy again for other laptops.

Fabulous customer service
I encountered some issues with my monitor after a few months and the supplier reacted immediately to send me a new one. Wonderful customer service, would definitely recommend this product. Perfect for at home work with small workspaces and easy for transporting/travel. Screen has great resolution and easy to set up for each use.

There are better options
***Kind of a SCAM (you would be smart to read this)Desperately wanted this thing to work the right way. Was in love with the idea of it.had been searching for an ideal monitor set up. Have a smaller desk and wanted it to fit. I was impressed with the bottom touch screen, and the videos that were on YouTube. However, the truth about this product is that it is old technology and mis-used technology, and what I believe was a scam to get money from Kickstarter. For the 2 million they raised they at least could've had the courtesy to spend some of the money on giving a decent monitor.Instead, they used old technology and manipulated us into thinking this was a high quality product. It's not. There are significant errors in the connections and actual use of this monitor. It is significantly "glitchy" and shows constant error codes.Screens often freeze and have issues with connections. Nothing but a handful of small issues that are a pain in the butt. The text on the screen looks like the text from when I was a kid. It is very difficult to see and read, often have to lean in to see what's on the screen. The "TOUCHSCREEN" is a joke. The rate at which it responds is sort of like how it was when the tech first came out- when it works, which is not often. It is slow to respond. There is is a youtube short of an asian guy using it and trying to show how amazing it is, but if you look close and know what to look for, you can see that there is significant delay in the response time. If you drag your finger it has a significant delay. There is no pinch and spread. That is something they must have edited in. It behaves strangely at times.I contacted the company and asked for support. They asked me to send a video and describe the problem.I did and they sent me a basic company response- restart your computer, plug it in, blah blah blah.Completely useless.I complained again and then they began to spam me with sales emails. When I blocked those emails and reported them as spam, they still sent more.Same person, same company. (Hi Jack from Pixels! :)Thankfully the email I gave them was one I only used for this purchase, as I would assume they've also sold that information.assumption based on Jack's spam behavior. This product when you look at it if you sit for any length of time will cause your eyes to be blurry. Or the screen reads blurry. There is a video review on Youtube about how they've used old tech and also tried to manipulate it. What they should have done was take the 2 million from kickstarter and use it the way it should have been.Instead, you get a monitor that looks like a Dell from 1995. That's not saying anything against Dell.Every decent product is moving up to 5k, 6k, whatever. I didn't ask for that. However, if you're a company debuting a new product, you would want to shine a little and provide some screen quality. Instead, they pocketed the money and gave us this trash.I watched the new Beetlejuice movie on this thing. Almost unwatchable with the blacks. All shiny like back in the day. If you watch anything dark it's awful.I would recommend going on amazon and doing the following- buy an articulating desk pole stand, get a dell touch screen, and then get a nice 4 k or at least an UHD monitor. You would be much better off.The screens would be more adjustable, they would be a higher quality, and there would be no processing errors.I'll be doing a video review on youtube before I send this thing back.I'm giving this company one star only because they did a really good job with their 2 mil magic trick. For that, I congratulate them. Well done fellas.... enjoy the Porsches. But I'm taking this one back.

Decent - just be sure to manage your expectations.
Decent - just be sure to manage your expectations. The screen drops a bit when pulled out, and doesn't stay in place well after being used a bit. For the life of me, I can't get it to stay bright enough (not a problem I have with other external screens, and I haven't been able to troubleshoot it), so I'm frequently increasing it again. It's also heavier than I expect, so it can pull my laptop screen forward onto itself, or backward. All of that said - Once I figured out to take the screen off when not in use (easy to do; just click it in place with the magnets), and found a good position for it, it meets the need.Of course it's not going to be like having another monitor on your desktop.....it's a portable option. Written info can be hard to read (because it's small), unless you zoom in (so not you have less on the screen), but that's to be expected.I use my primary laptop screen for the bulk of my work, and primarily use this screen to organize windows and have faster access to tools I don't want to keep minimizing. It meets the need, and I've enjoyed not having to be at my desk all time (where my 2nd monitor is) to do work. The biggest problem is that now I probably work from bed too much!So - it's fine, as long as you manage your expectations!

Great product for long business trips.
Overall a good product, the setup wasnt automatic, which was surprising, most devices now are plug and play or as soon as you plug in, it downloads the drivers automatically. The screen and picture are great, as expected of an HD monitor.I am not too happy with the quality of the materials, the sliding is very cumbersome.

Product update
I really loved this product when I first got it as it made a world of difference in working from home on my laptop. About 3 months in I had problems with it when I tried to slide it in and a part broke off rendering it unusable. I reached out and the company was great about sending me a replacement. The replacement worked great for about 9 months and then I started having connection issues where everything would suddenly shift back to my laptop screen and the duex screen would go dark and then come back on and I would have to redrag screens back over to it. Initially I thought it was because I was working on my lap and maybe the wires were getting jiggled, but even when I moved to my desk it continued to happen and get progressively worse. I then just switched to connecting my laptop to my desk monitor and hoped that giving the Duex a rest would help. Unfortunately I am traveling now and all I get from the Duex screen is a white screen with gray windows on it. So I loved it when it worked, but for the price, nine months of working just isn't worth it.
