No more stress paying rent
An excellent book for anyone at any age! 25 years ago my dad bought this book for me when I was young and first out on my own. Today I still use this system so I bought it for a friend having trouble managing money. It follows the "envelope system" which is great! If you stay disciplined and don't take money out of one budget category to pay for another, you always have money for rent, food, etc. It is a stress reliever for sure! I couldn't live without it.

Fantastic
I own one and I love it. I bought these for my children as well and set them all up with a three ring binder and everything. They really like it and for them being in their early 20's have managed to stay on track and they each bought a house because of budgeting. I couldn't be more proud of them.It does take a few months to get used to it and is a lot of work in the beginning, but well worth it

The book is mostly oriented on religious Chtistians
I havent yet studied it carefully but one thing that surprised me and that, as far as I remember, was not mentioned in the description of the book by Amazon is that the book bases itself on Biblical principles and is mostly written for devout Christians. While this does not diminish its meaning in terms of giving smart financial advise to young families, I as a person far from religions at times find it awkward to see Bible references mentioned 5 times on each page.

This book is a wonderful tool for getting your finances in order. It is easy to read. Easy to understand. And extremely easy to use. By following easy steps, you develop a clear understanding of your finances, spending habits and ultimately what your budget needs to be. The ease of use make it more likely that you will follow the program and get control of your money.

Excellent! Please Read This Book!
It doesn't matter if you think you make a lot of money or hardly any - a buget is crucial. I can't stress enough how much this book has helped my wife and I to create and follow our budget. We hope to be out of debt in a number of years when before we saw no real way we could be out of debt.Please - read this book! Give it a chance.
