I've used these on many cats and dogs over the years. This Injector/Gun/Popper (syringe to me) is just right. Some say it's too loose. Using common sense (not common these days) just put the pill inside syringe tip, carefully place tip in back of throat (2 people best, one to hold pet & keep mouth open) quickly shoot pill and then close mouth, rub throat. Best system I've found, works easily, quickly and just right. The other syringes can be too small, hard to get pill through. I also like that the syringe is clear and can see where the pill is. Once wears out (takes yrs), just buy another one.

first. I trimmed the "fingers" on the end that goes in the pets mouth as they were preventing the release of the pill even when plunger is depressed. 2nd, found that loading with soft dog food first, then pill, then more soft dog food gave the best chance at pill delivery to pet. Note: I found use of two types of soft dogfood worked best.. regular soft food followed by a chunky soft food(kind with gravy),then pill, then dog food in reverse order... the chunky keeps the pill from being pushed right through the other soft food... pls note my dog is extremely picky and smart she won't just eat food laced with meds she will starve herself, she also learned with a small amount of soft food with pill in syringe she can separate pill from food and spit out the pill and eat the dogfood. I also had to put a muzzle on her so she could try to bite during med time with the syringe and muzzle there is very little stress for her and she can calmly get meds and i don't get bit

We’ve had to give our cat a pill 1-2 times daily for a while but the piller we got from the vet was getting pretty chewed up so I bought this one. The tip is NOT rubber, it’s hard plastic with sharp edges that would have scratched up the inside of her mouth! It’s also about 3 times larger and would have been impossible to get near the back of her throat. It might be fine for a dog, but no way this would work for a small delicate cat. It went straight in the trash....

This is the best pill popper I've ever used. When it was delivered I thought it would never work. My elderly cat now requires a pill in the morning and a pill in the evening for her thyroid. After 9 days of using this, I am 18 for 18 in successful attempts. It works first time every time. You can even pop more than one pill at a time if necessary and not a choking hazard due to size. I highly recommend giving this a try.

This was recommended by my vet to give daily pills to my cat. The point was to not get scratched to death. Item states it’s good for both cats and dogs, but it’s really just for dogs. The cats pills are too small for it and the thing is so large it’s really just easier to pop the pill to back of the cats throat in a second that fool with loading this thing and trying to fit it in a small cats mouth. A dog mouth would be no problem.

It is poorly designed. The pills pop out as soon as I tip it up. The plunger falls out when held upside down. Hanging onto a dog at the same time to administer the pill is impossible.

I bought this after my cat swallowed the silicone tip of another pill dispenser. Fortunately it passed and he’s fine, but I will never use another multi-piece piller again.This one works well for medium sized pills (I put my cat’s meds into size 3 gel caps), and it can’t come apart while I use it.I haven’t used the liquid measure yet, but it seems like it will work well, and it’s handy to have around.

Wish large pill syringe had a rubber tip. It is plastic and once used a couple of times it lost it's tight form. Pills will fall out
