Spigen Thin Fit Nexus 5X Case with Premium Matte Finish Coating for Nexus 5X - Shimmery White

Let me first start by saying I'm not a case guy. I've never used a case on any phone that I've owned in the past. However, when I got my Nexus 5X, and realized that anytime it's sitting on a table it will be resting on the camera glass, I decided I needed a case to raise and protect it. I wanted something thin and unobtrusive. This brought me to the Spigen. This case is amazing. Fits perfectly, provides just enough to protect the case along the corners and sides, and provides a thin buffer between the back and front of your case when you place it on a table, and that's when Spigen decided that the case would be no thicker. The case doesn't obstruct either the charging or headphone port, and has a precise cutout for the camera IR sensor and flash. One of the best features of this case are the fingerprint sensor cutout, and the power/volume rocker button cutouts.The fingerprint sensor cutout starts to angle inward a few millimeters before the actual sensor, which helps with accuracy when trying to use the fingerprint sensor and makes a nice indent to place your finger when using the phone. The power/volume rocker button cutouts are amazing in that they extend to the very back of the case. When holding the phone, your thumb doesn't have to try to reach into a small hole to press the buttons. +Thin +Awesome cutout ergonomics all around +Lifts phone off tables enough to prevent scratching glass -Can't make me coffee

I get tired of 'em easily so I usually buy dirt-cheap cases.This case, for what it is, could be considered expensive. Color is uniform, doesn't scratch easily, and seems to be made of quality materials. It offers a minimal amount of protection in a minimalist size. Fits perfectly-even with my glass screen protector. Doesn't add any real bulk to the phone. If you are looking for a case that looks and fits great, this one certainly does. If you are looking for a case that will do more than protect your phone from scratches and minor bumps, this may not be the case for you. On the other hand, if rugged is not your thing and you don't want to drastically change the appearance of your device, this fits the bill nicely...at least for me.

I really like this case - fits my phone well, doesn't add much bulk, the open design at top/bottom/buttons ensures there's no interference with operation, and having inadvertently dropped the phone onto tile floors and asphalt more than once(!), it protects the phone well. Why only four stars? Minor/cosmetic reasons, but they keep the cover from being perfect: 1. The mint color is only sprayed onto the case - the material itself appears to be white. I know this because within a month, the paint already started scuffing off at all four corners (and yes, this was apparent before I dropped it). The color clearly will not hold up well. 2. The mint color is nowhere near the same shade as the phone. It's a much brighter seafoam green - yes, pretty much as pictured, but I expected if Spigen was offering this case in just three colors, it only made sense they'd actually match the three colors the phone comes in. Ah well. I don't hate it, and makes it easy to spot the phone when I set it down, but I bought the mint phone (which is really more like grayish-toned sage) because I wanted that color. I'd rather have a case that matched my phone or have more color options. 3. It's hard to get this case off the phone, as it's not very flexible once it's on, and does in fact fit the phone quite snugly. Not that I need to take the case off regularly (given the good design that leaves ports and buttons wide open), but be aware of this. All in all, an excellent performer. I just wish it came in better colors that went all the way through the material and didn't scuff off so easily.

This a great case, if you like minimal cases. I had been using a Moto X 2013 with a Bear Motion slim case, both which I loved. I used to run Otterbox cases, but have decided that the bulk is just not worth it to, especially as I am not too rough on my phones. This Spigen Thin Fit case is perfect for what I was looking for: Basic, slim protection against minor bumps, scratches, etc. It feels much more durable than the previous Bear Motion cases I was using (I went through thee of those, just with daily wear). The cuts outs match the phone features in large part because both the top and bottom edge of the case are open. The fingerprint cutout is great. Lines the finger up perfect, and have had no problem using the sensor at all with this case. The only real downside (and it isn't even a problem) is that the "Spigen" text on the back of the case is debossed, (the letters are cut out of the case) so that if you brush your fingers against it, it feels different. I have gotten used to it, but at first I kept thinking something got on the case or scratched it. Not a big deal, but for people who like a "smooth" feel, it is something to be aware of. Not a problem, just caused a few "huh?" moments for me.

This brand fit perfect, feel excellent in your hand and protect your device enough from the ocassional drop. The cutaway design gives un-intrusive access to your charge port, card slots and button controls. This is our second one from Spigen for the same phone and the previous one only had a few tiny corner cracks from being dropped over two years. These are made of a rigid plastic and are strong. They have a satinish pearlized finnish to them and do not suffer from discoloration. If you want great protection with a slim look that keeps your phone looking sleek and sophistocated these slimfit Spigen brand cases/covers will do just that.

Spigen cases are generally of excellent quality and it is to no surprise that this Nexus 5X case is any different. It fits incredibly well, just like a can of sardines in... well.. a can. Except in this case it's a phone. I've had this case on my 5X for close to a year now and it's really standing to the test of time. I dropped my phone in a severe manner twice by now with the case on, one of them being rather tragic. This disaster occurred on a rainy day when I was leaving the car with the phone plugged in to the 12V charger while the phone was still resting on my lap. I got out, the phone fell face down straight into a puddle in a gravel-surfaced parking lot and I immediately fell to the ground praying for there to be a god. I thought all was lost. The heavens forgave me for my stupidity (just this time apparently) because when I picked up my phone I only found very very minor scratches to the screen. The protruding lip of Spigen's mighty [Thin Fit] Exact-Fit (is it thin or exact? Even Spigen can't make up their mind) case helped prevent my phone screen from scraping the floor. Good design decision Spigen, I never liked thin lips anyway. The holes and angles in this case are moulded perfectly for the Nexus 5X - the curved camera hole, fingerprint sensor hole, and flash hole are evidently cut with precision. The soft touch plastic finish inspires confidence that it won't slip out of your hand, unlike the plastic finish on the phone itself. It's worth noting this soft-touch plastic isn't prone to "peeling" and revealing a layer of shiny black plastic underneath. The only complaint I have about this case is that the volume and power buttons no longer feel as protruded, so it's a little more difficult to feel the buttons. This being said I have no issues finding the power button when I pick up my phone, and the volume buttons are also just as accessible.

I've had a few Spigen cases now for several phones and have been pretty happy with them all - and this is no exception. It fits the 5X perfectly with all the cut-outs in the right place for the buttons, camera, fingerprint sensor etc. Although the top and bottom of the case are open the corners of the case do wrap around giving the corners of the phone protection. It grabs and holds the phone nicely, with a little lip running around the screen which also means that when placed face down the screen does not touch the surface. It has a nice soft-feel to the back that is easy to grip and cleans well. It does not pick up fingerprints to badly and even after a couple months use it looks like new with no scratches. The case holds the phone nice and securely - there is no play to the case, give or wobble when the phone is inserted but at the same time it is easy to take the case off and require no tools or excessive force. The only fault I have with this case (and most cases) is that it encroaches on the space around the 3.5mm jack which means that some cables with slightly larger plugs will not fit as you can't push it all the way in. If you frequently use headphones or AUX out then you will want to check how thick the plug is as you might not be able to use it. As this is a problem I have had with various cases/brands I will not deduct stars, in addition as I use bluetooth headphones it no longer is an issue. I wouldn't say this case will prevent damage from blatant carelessness, but for the average user who handles their phone with at least a modicum of care and respect then this case will prevent damage and keep it looking like new.

Nexus５Xに薄くぴったりフィットしてます（SPIGEN社はTHIN FITと称している）。ケースを装着しても不自然さが全くない点がすばらしい！表面は艶消し仕上げで上品かつ、滑り止め的ぬめりがあり機能的です。上下は角を除いてカバーはありませんし、右側面のスイッチ部も大きくカットされてます。思い切りのよいデザインでGoodです。ディスプレイ面と裏面カメラ部は共に１ミリ程度このケースの方を高く設計してあるので、ガラス面の傷防止になります。中国製造だけど、品質とデザインはアメリカSPIGEN社の管理です。評判どおりの良い製品で、満足度は高いです！

Great case for the price! It fits my phone well, is snug and seems very secure. I have dropped my phone a couple of times already and it seems to help it whether the bumps and scratches and hasn't flown off my phone on impact like other cases have done in the past. I have this case in the minty green colour and I love it. So pretty. Good purchase overall I would say and I would buy one again.
