Little small for my taste
I feel little better after I combined these toys with some cowbells. I still wish they were a little bigger so you could hit them with both sticks at the same time and they would have had a deaper sound to them.In summary you get what you pay for...

Sounds great
These are not cowbells, but more of cracking noise. But I like them. They are not metal, so you're hitting hard plastic.

These are small and plastic. They work but you definitely won't fear the reaper with these.

Wood blocks
These are most definitely not cowbells. They sound like wood blocks, which is fine if that’s the sound you’re looking for. Definitely not cowbells.

My dad loves these! He plays in a latin band so these are perfect.

Good and sturdy with good tones.
Love the ability to sound like a woodblock on the high tone, and semi-cowbell on the low tone.
