A very simple ice, crusher, did not want a big piece of machinery, but sometimes I just want ice, crushed up in a glass of iced tea or water, five stars for simple machinery

I use this kit to make a lot of ice for my morning smoothie. The mallet is sturdy, smooth, well made, easy to swing. The bag is thick enough to stand up to being repeatedly beaten. I had planned to buy an old fashioned "ice cracker" (plastic handle/metal striker) and saw this kit. It was well reviewed. Looked pretty eco friendly. And it works great. They ask you to rinse the bag afterward (?) and then hang it to dry. The bag dries easily. No regrets.

Absolutely love this product. It makes crushing ice easy and well contained for those of us who prefer swinging a hammer to turning a crank or pushing a button. It's very fulfilling and the size is perfect for multiple drinks frozen mix in the blender or directly into a thermos or tumbler.

This does as advertised. I have tried with regular ice cubes from my automatic ice maker in the freezer and with big blocks for whiskey drinks.It definitely breaks up the ice but it would be extremely helpful if there was a magnet sewn into the top flap to keep the bag closed while smashing the ice. Maybe on the next version.

I wished I had known of this item years ago! I loved crushed ice, but I was using a hammer to bust up my ice and my thumb. The expensive ice crushing blenders just made dust or clogged up. Thank you. This item takes less time too and the bags do not bust.

I’ve been slowly building out a tiki bar and this is one of the items that I wanted on my list.Prior to receiving the item, the seller was kind enough to send some usage and cleaning suggestions. Have had the product for a couple of weeks now and I’m quite pleased. Seems to be well-made and works great.
