Fat from grass fed cows has a lot of benefits. grass-fed cows contains a certain beneficial fatty acid called CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). CLA can help prevent several diseases and conditions like obesity and diabetes. Furthermore, if you have been on antibiotics your digestive system will be affected. When antibiotics kill the bacteria that belong in your gut, it creates a state of dysbiosis. This refers to a condition where the delicate ecosystem in your gut is disrupted. Your gut becomes susceptible to overgrowth of other organisms, like yeast when the levels of good bacteria drop. This can lead to irritable bowel syndrome.My son went on antibiotics when he was born and has a result he had a lot of symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, this has cleared a lot of this and he is now 3 years old and can eat anything without any effects. His digestive system is excellent. Grass fed fat is amazing. And other plus he has amazing skin and no allergies.

I generally use a variety of good quality grass-fed and organic animal fats when cooking and try not to overdo it with butter as its hard to find a quality grass-fed source and the price does add up over time.I have purchased Ossa Tallow previously and due to the quality of this product I decided to start switching up butter for Ghee and have not been disappointed. The Ghee is a deep yellow colour and has a fragrant taste and dense texture. I use just under a tablespoon when cooking eggs or frying meat etc and this product really holds up well and adds that buttery taste and texture without the additional lactose elements.The added benefit of this product is that it lasts a lot longer than butter when kept in the fridge and the quality has not diminished over time. When used sparingly it also lasts in terms of quantity which justifies the difference in price compared to normal butter.

I originally 1 starred this as it had no form of tamper proofing. I'm glad I gave this a second try, it came in some sort of wrapping this time which offers a basic degree of tamper proofing. The flavour is really rich, creamy and nutty. I love this in desserts and in my coffee.
