Good book, makes concepts easy
This was exactly what I was looking for to study for my ITIL Foundations exam. I used book as a supplement to an online study course. The book made all the concepts easy to understand if you are new to ITIL like I was

Great Intro Book
I took a class a while ago and needed to brush up. This book exceeded my expectations and I felt very much educated after reading it. I now use it as a reference whenever needed. If you want deep advanced education in any of the service areas, I would recommend the actual ITIL books. They are large and costly though.

Great resource
Just like the rest of the Dummies series, this is the perfect reference guide needed for ITIL work. Go to the section you need, look up the items you need help with, put the book down until it's needed again! Perfect!

Great Primer for ITIL, but dont SOLELY rely on it for the exam.
Great book for a primer into ITIL. My only item of note is he doesnt go in order of the 5 books for the foundation. He discusses all the terms and so forth, but I was like "OK, now what book is that concept covered?" Whereas the book from Global Knowledge, when you take the course from them, they go over the 5 books, and their underlying concepts, in order. To the author's credit, he does clearly state this is NOT meant to be a study guide, and the order he presents the material is probably why. This is great, however, to read BEFORE your class so you arent walking in cold. This, coupled with GK's class that I mentioned, I was able to pass the exam! There is SO much material that I cannot recommend strongly enough, and I dont care if its this book or another, read BEFORE the class! That was the main complaint I heard from my colleagues as they sat for the exam - they regretted not reading before hand.
