These are vintage tuners for the smaller tuner holes.
I purchased these tuners for a new neck I put on my telecaster. They stay in tune. It takes patience to get them just right. At least for this first timer.

Smooth and solid
I've been using these for years. I've tried a few other brands and found these to be more consistent quality. They feel smooth and have been reliable for me. I prefer the vintage style split shaft tuners to the larger, heavier modern style ones. I only wish they'd offer the option to buy them with larger bushings so you wouldn't have to find and purchase the adapter bushings separately.

GREAT QUALITY TUNING KEYS!
I consistently purchase Wilkinson products for the simple reason that the machine heads keep your strings in tune! They are a lightweight and well-made product! And whether they are the vintage tuning keys, which I am reviewing here, their hardtail bridges, their string ferrules, or even their strap buttons; you know you are getting great value for your purchasing power. I highly recommend Wilkinson products!

Very surprised, but there is an issue.
First off, they look fantastic. I installed them on my 2012 Affinity Stratocaster (we’ll get to that) and they perfectly match the CBS era headstock. Tuning stability seems fine, if a little jumpy. However I did run into one major problem. The holes in the headstock were far too big, and the bushings that fit around the tuner shaft can nearly fall right through. I think I’m going to plug the holes with a dowel and re-drill them to fit the bushings, so we’ll see how that pans out. Overall, they look great, and seem to be pretty solid, but they don’t fit my particular guitar, but that might not be an issue on newer models.

Just what I needed
Just what my cheap 50's style Tele needed. It's a knock-off that came with cheap through-hole tuners that had poor gear ratios and the gears would slip every now and again. I really like the split shaft style because it means I don't have sharp string ends sticking out to get caught on anything and smother finer gears. All for a decent price!

Tuners
Very nice, simple, precise, and sturdy. I slid these directly into the existing ferrells on 3 Harley Benton headstocks. They're better than any stock machine heads I've ever used. Definitely an upgrade on any guitar with classic tuners from factory. Keeps pitch even after serious bending. These Wilkinson tuners are as good or better than many more expensive brands. Thank you.

Screws are too small for MIM maple neck.
The included screws for the tuners do not fit the pre-drilled screw holes for tuning machines. I have a Made in Mexico maple fender neck.

Great Value
These tuners look great and work well, pretty much hold tuning on my Tele partscaster once the strings are stretched in, good choice for the money.
