I think they stopped making this and... that... is... a... travesty!!!
We got this for my son on his 3rd birthday and it was the best $12.50 I have ever spent in my life. He still loves (a year and a half later) feeding Cookie Monster, pressing out food shapes and letters, making alphabet soup, and, after Cookie Monster has eaten, turning CM around to see if he's pooped yet. A bit of context here. You tilt Cookie Monster's head back, put food in his mouth, and move his head forwards to close his mouth. By closing his mouth the bottom of his mouth drops out and the food drops into his body, which is hollow, and you turn him around and stick your fingers into the compartment in his back containing the playdough food. Now... what child isn't going to think that is Cookie Monster's poop? Actually, given that we bought this for him at 2 and went all the way through toilet training with him, this led to a lot of conversations about food, eating, digestion, and excretion. Actually this was a great and very organic learning tool, and the more that I think about it the more I am irked that they seem to have stopped making this given all of the other garbage that is marketed at kids.

😊
If it wasn't because my child means the world to me I would have second thoughts on this item it's a lot of money for a simple Cookie Monster. Lol but the smiles and laughs are priceless thanks for the shipping amazon.

She Loves It; I Like It
My daughter plays with this quite a bit, but I'm not crazy about the whole play-doh concept. They're supposed to use the tools to cut out vegetable shapes and stamp letters in the dough...but it doesn't really work. The placemat that comes with it doesn't lay flat after months. So all in all, I think it's cheap. My three-year old, however, has played with it forever and LOVES it. She just feeds Cookie Monster the actual plastic letters. She has a blast with it. One plus is she doesn't seem to care if there's play-doh involved or not, so I've stopped getting it out when she plays with this toy.

Highway Robbery😳
I had to give one star but preferred to give nothing! My five year old granddaughter had to have this and you charged $250😳 For a simple play doh set! That is highway robbery!

way overpriced!
My 2 year old granddaughter loves this toy. She watches the video ad on an ipad over and over, so I wanted to get it for her 2nd birthday. Couldn't find it in the store. It must be discontiinued. So, I found it at Amazon. Other similar play-doh sets sell for less than half the cost (I paid $74 for this one). It contains 4 small play-doh packs and a plastic cookie monster, plastic fork, knive and spoon, and cut-out alphabet letters, as well as a few other plastic tools to shape the clay-doh. I feel that I really got gouged on the price, but I must say that my granddaughter absolutely loves the toy! I would purchase it again if I had a do-over, but am resentful of having to pay this extravagant price.

Cookie Monster is a hit!!
My 2 year old loves to play with this toy. It's easy for her to put play doh food in his mouth while saying "Om nom nom!" The letters are a little harder for her to make molds of than the other food molds but she is also able to put the little molds themselves in his mouth to eat too (great way to teach letters while playing). I like the diversity of items included with this - it has the noodle maker, a fork/spoon/knife, many molds to choose from and someone willing to eat whatever your little ones feels like making. I wish I had bought this before buying a couple other play doh items.

very poor functions comparing to its cost, it is too much expensive & don't deserve this value at all .

Cookie Monster play-Doh FUN
My 2 year old son loves this. It came with 4 small play-doh colors, a small rolling pin for rolling out Doh, a spoon, knife, and fork that cookie monster can hold or can be used for "eating". The ABC presses are great and have made learning his letters even more fun. There are all kinds of food presses (cookies, banana, apple, vegis). He loves to make "food" and "feed" Cookie Monster. When you close the mouth the Doh drops through the hollow body and sits at the bottom of his backside (where there is an opening) making finding it and clean up easy. Just remember to get the Doh out of there before putting it away or it will be hard the next time you play. I have given as a gift as well and it has been popular with his friends as well.
