I have a six year old girl. Is this geared toward boys..

Not at all! I have two girls (6 and 2), and they both love them. They're just 3 dimensional building blocks -- so kids can build anything they imagine. My 2 year old mostly just plays with her sister's creations -- she can't really build yet. My 6 year old loves them; she just occasionally needs help clicking two pieces together.

Can a 3 year old build with these or will it be too difficult?

In my opinion most 3 year olds would have difficulty building with these. Most of the examples in the instructions are quite complex.

Any chance these are bpa free? Thanks in advance
