Great book, love Who HQ
We absolutely love the who HQ series in our household! These books provide a ton of information at a major appropriate level, which pushes the reader a bit, we have a mature eight year-old and she does occasionally need help with words, but she can understand the content very well on her own. I find these books to be historically accurate and not overly biased.

Great book
The book was very interesting. It talked about the pharaohs and their lifestyle and when they died there was a process of how they mummified the body. They removed all the organs except the heart they put oils to make it not decay and the organs they dried it and put them in containers. And then they put the cloth to seal the body. The pyramids were the biggest monument until the Eiffel tower was built. Many other pyramids were built there was one in Guatemala and the others in Mexico. But the ones in Egypt were built with 2 and a half ton blocks and was built with multiple people. And the pharaohs were buried in the pyramids

Great for Reading and also Reports!
Purchased this for my 8 year old who is going through an Egypt phase! She loved the book and read it without being asked! That to me is a good book! She also used it for a report which was a bonus as well, because sometimes at this age it is hard for a child to do a research paper and put fact into their own words. This book delivered the facts and concepts so that she could easily write her own paper in her own words and have some good facts to back it up.

I've greatly fond of these little books.
The information and illustrations keep MY interest, THEN, I pass them along to my WIFE . . .who passes them along to our neighbor . . . who passes them along to her grand-children.I've kept a few for myself: DRACULA; FRANKENSTEIN; and NIXON.

My 6 yo gave it 5 stars!!!
He really liked learning about the pyramids, Giza, and especially the mummification process. However, his big brother dry heaved learning about mummies... Hilarious Mom moment!
