Great scope for the price range
I have been a Nikon fan for years. Now that they have stopped manufacturing rifle scopes I have become a Burris fan and I have played around with Vortex. I have watched a number of reviews on this scope and thought it would be good to try. I am not disappointed. The clarity of this scope is good but not excellent, With it probably close to clarity of a Vortex crossfire. Definitely better than Bushnell banner or other similar scopes. The target knobs are very tactile with positive clicks. The adjustments are accurate with 10 clicks up and 10 clicks down returning to zero. Eye relief is good at about 3-1/2”. That is plenty for most rifles. Mine came with scope caps. That’s something that scopes twice the price don’t offer. The scope is definitely built for a bench rifle. It is solid and heavy. For the price I would recommend for sure. However, if your budget allows, there are certainly some better option for twice the price.

What an amazing optic for the price!
Like most people, I bought this scope for one of my rifles. I'm afraid that I need to go find a new rifle just for this scope though. It completely outclasses my gun unfortunately lol. I'm not complaining by any means. For the price of this optic you get a whole heck of a lot on this thing! The perks and features are endless... FFP, illuminated reticle, MOA or MIL options, parallax adjustment, BIG open turrets that are super easy to dial on, it's all there on this thing and it's not skimping on quality and durability in any way. This scope has $1k quality and it's well under $300, you just can't beat it imo. I've always been a Leupold and Vortex guy, this is my first Athlon, definitely will not be my last. One of the best bang-for-your-buck items I've ever bought. HIGHLY satisfied with this product in every aspect possible. Not a single disappointment found so far.

Amazing scope for price
I’ve shot about 400 rounds so far out of my 30-06 and still holds true, battery dies a little fast but other than that I recommend it as a starter scope. Eye relief could be better though

Nice scope with some needed improvements
First off, Seller did not pack the scope very well & scope arrived with dented shipping & dented scope box. Luckily there was no damage to the scope.I was able to mount and try out this Athlon scope recently. Here are my findings:Pros:Well built, well designed & accurate. Doesn’t look or feel cheap.Glass is bright & clear even at max magnificationTurrets have nice sharp audible clicks and the zero stop is a nice option to haveI found Parallax to be accurate at different distancesHas illuminated reticle but I don’t use this functionCons:Short Eye relief. I mounted this scope on a pic rail as far back as possible and eye relief was still short for me. Good thing I was able to adjust the LOP on my chassis to help alleviate this issue.Sadly, reticle is too thick (thicker than pictured imo). If you plan on shooting long distances (ie. >300 yards) at smaller targets above 18x magnification then this could be an issue since at higher magnifications, the reticle looks more like a SFP reticle.Overall, it’s a decent & solid scope for the price, but if you can deal with the cons then this scope might work for you.

Excellent Scope
I have four of these scopes, my opinion, is that they are as good as a Vortex scope. My son has the Viper by Vortex, we both qualified at 1000 yards, this scope has very clear glass, at 1000 yards I was looking at the target at 18 power but have used it at 24 power he was doing the same, his scope is a 6-24x50 also. The clicks are very crisp and precise, my older scope didn't have a zero stop, but I fixed that by inserting a metal washer under the elevation knob, the plastic washers did not work for me. To reiterate these scopes are as good as Vortex Viper, you can't go wrong with this scope, just know your dope and the scope will do the rest. Plus, the scope has a Lifetime Warranty.

Probably the best in this price point.
Good scopes for the money. I have 65 scopes so I can say these are good to go. Tracks perfectly and the glass is just ok, but that should be expected for the price point. For a budget hunting or target rifle, you would be satisfied by all means. I have two of these and zero complaints.

Sharp glass that holds a zero well
I mounted this on my FX Impact M4 air rifle, .22 cal. This is certainly not a rifle with harsh recoil, but it is a rifle that demands an accurate scope with parallax adjustment that goes down to 10 yards. This does the job well.My target looks very large at 50 yards, and the image is sharp and clear. It is easy to zero as the point-of-impact offset is easily measured using the mil reticle. The adjustment turrets seem to adjust as specified... 1 mil on the reticle is 1 mil adjustment on the turrets.

Bad parallax / side focus knob
Sorry Athlon, your two attempts failed me. On my first purchase, received with broken parallax side focus knob. Turning the knob went from very stiff to very loose then back to very stiff. Just didn’t feel right. Felt stripped and broken. Didn’t even bother trying it out at the range. Returned right away. Gave Athlon a 2nd chance and reordered another scope. Received 2nd scope with similar issues on the parallax / side focus knob. Not as stiff but it still felt some grinding when turning, definitely not smooth. Mounted on a custom build 10/22 and gave it a try at the range. Clarity and brightness was OK. Problem was on the focusing. After a few rounds on a 22lr, the focus would go blurry. Constantly having to refocus after every 3 rounds. Not surprising with the bad parallax adjustment knob. Totally intolerable so returned again. Very disappointed with Athlon. I suspect they’re shipping used and broken scopes at a discounted price as many reviews mentioned here. I’d like to add that the packaging was terrible; see picture. I would have gave zero stars but wanted to give 1 star for Amazon’s easy return and quick refund process.
