Tempur-PedicSleep Mask, One Size, Navy, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I bought this item 8 years ago and I ordered a new one recently to replace it. My old one was in decent condition after all these years, except the strap has stretched out and became too loose. I also sent it through the wash cycle even though the instructions say not to, but it's lasted this long anyways. If you are on the fence about whether or not to buy it, I highly recommend it because it is soft, comfortable, conforms well to the face/nose and most importantly, it blocks out all the light. I can't sleep without it. Quality looks the same as it was 8 years ago.

I wear a sleeping mask every night. Over the years, I've tried 4 or 5 different masks off of amazon, along with plenty of random masks from airport stores etc., and this is my favorite. Here are some of the reasons why:It blacks out light completely. No tiny streaks of light peeking in on the sides.It's comfortable. The material is very soft, so if you sleep on your stomach (like I do), you can plant your face into it and it just feels like a pillow. There is a dimple in the middle so that the foam doesn't push up on your eyeballs.It doesn't move around. I roll around a lot and it's generally right in place when I wake up.The strap is adjustable, you can make it as tight or loose as you want to fit your face.It lasts. You can wash it in the washing machine if it gets gross. It comes out of the dryer fluffy and clean. I bought my current one two years ago, have worn it basically every night, and there are no signs of wear. The elastic is still strong, no seams or threads fraying.In other reviews, I've seen some people complain generally about sleep masks pushing on the bridge of their nose and causing discomfort (I read a TON of these reviews while looking for the right mask). In my experience, most masks do that, and this one does push a little on your nose, but because the outer fabric and inner foam are so soft, I think it's less bothersome with this mask than some others.

If I could, I would give this more than five stars. This is my second Tempur-Sleep mask. I bought my first one 11 years ago from Brookstone's at a local mall and it would have lasted longer if my son's puppy didn't get to it.I work nights and sleep during the day and this blackens the room completely without having the mask touch my eyelids like cheap masks do which annoys me and is not comfortable. Since it is Tempur material inside, it warms and softens and conforms to your face very comfortably and only rests above the eye brows, around the eyes and across the high cheek and bridge of the nose. It has an elastic velcro strap to tighten as much or little as your like.I have found over the years if I change my schedule to sleep at night (vacations), I cannot sleep without this and I have seriously become dependent on having it at home or when I travel. I keep it clean by wiping the inside edges with a damp cloth once or twice a week. In my humble opinion, this is the best sleep mask ever made.

I've purchased several of these over the years. Not because they need replacing but because they keep getting stolen! I usually keep one in my guest bedrooms and one in the living room in case someone (or myself) want to nap there. Once people use them once, they really want to keep them.First, it's super comfortable. When you put it on, it gently hugs your face in a way that's easy to ignore. Speaking of ignore, even better is that it blocks 100% of all light. This is what really amazes people. When I say 100%, I mean 100%. It can be a bright summer day with all the blinds open and when you put this on you cannot tell if your eyes or open or shut. If you wake up wearing it, there's no way to know what time it is or if the sun is out until you take it off. It makes it possible to sleep anywhere no matter what the lighting conditions are like.I buy these as gifts and I carry them on every plane ride. They're amazing and there's nothing out there better.

I've bought a cheap eye mask from Amazon called 'MZOO' in the past, and it's only been extremely comfortable. As of lately it's started to deteriorate beyond use, considering I've been using the same one for over 3-4 years. I decided that since I use an eye mask regularly, I should upgrade to a more 'premium' one, which lead me to find "Tempur-Pedic". The strap that wraps around your head is made of this weird hard plastic, which I'm sure is very durable, but it's probably the least comfortable material to wear on your head. The 'Tempur-Pedic' part of the eye mask is really stiff, the shape would only form if you put a lot of pressure on it, it's really hard to ignore. The eye portion of the eye mask barely has any space, and rubs against your eyelids, also not a comfortable experience. I'm very disappointed in this product especially at its price point. Maybe mine was defected, but I'm more disappointed in how others were able to recommend this let alone say anything remotely positive about this product. Like even the tag placement is terrible, it's abnormally long and visible, forcing you to cut it and have to bear with the slight white tag sticking out.
