I purchased a small number of these containers, used them for more than a month, then purchased more. These are the perfect size for single meals. Whenever we have a little bit left over from dinner, I make myself a meal, then toss it in the deep freeze. I very rarely have to buy lunch at work anymore. One thing I do is put a piece of scotch tape about 3 inches long on the lid. I fold the end over about a quarter inch so it’s easy to peel off. Then I can write the contents on the tape. I don’t take the tape off when I put it in the dishwasher. The sharpie marker usually fades a little bit in the DW, so I can write over it again one or two times before I have to replace the tape. I have frozen everything from meatloaf to soup in these containers. Nothing has ever leaked. When it’s still frozen solid, it needs to thaw a bit before the lid comes off easily, but that doesn’t take long in the microwave. The only time one of these has broken was when I dropped it taking it out of the deep freeze. These have been durable and have made saving leftovers (and saving money!) a lot easier.

Updated Review:The seller has amazing service! Seriously. They stated these items may have been a bad batch which is understandable and they went over and beyond making it right. Since I had six more to open I attempted more ways of getting this open without damaging the product. So if you do find these lids to be tight or also get a bad batch here is my advice If you use your thumbs and put them as close as you can to the middle of the lid then move your fingers to both tabs and kind of pry with both hands as the same time you can get tight lids to release. Just don't pry too hard or try one tab at a time.Old review being left as an initial response to the productThese containers look great and after getting them boy was I excited to load them up and put them in the fridge. After looking at the reviews how could you say anything other than these must be great for meal prep and the cost is just a little higher than competing products.We took two out of the fridge on Tuesday and I opened mine it was a bit tight but after some prying I got mine open. My boyfriend was a different story he pulled a bit to hard apparently and broke the lid. No problem we'll just be more careful next time.Next time, Wednesday we pulled out two more and tried our best to be careful but these are just ridiculous. You can not get them open without prying. I felt dumb, my boyfriend felt dumb. We still feel dumb but something like a food container should really be "dumb proof". Why are the lids so tight was it the cold from my fridge was it a bad batch of lids? I couldn't tell you and its definitely not inherently a terrible thing but definitely may want to skip this one if you're looking for something that'll last awhile.

This is my second time purchasing these and I will only buy this brand. Very sturdy, holds up to repetitive use and microwaving. Easy to clean. Other brands similar in size are flimsy, thin and easily break. I do not have a dishwasher to testify on how they hold up to that, I only hand wash them.

I bought these with the intention of food prep, but we mainly use for storing leftovers. The lids secure tightly and they save a lot of room in our fridge when stacked. Not flimsy plastic at all. Very good for the price!

Bought this for a friend who is constantly going from job-to-job and needs food readily available. He is a healthy eater and found this particular size is the perfect portion. They are absolutely leakproof, great for meal prep, microwave well with no smell whatsoever

I bought a set of these over two years ago when Covid started so I could start meal prepping everything. I still have mine, and while you can tell they have been used, they are still the best I've found for the price.I just ordered a bunch more because I bought a small freezer and I don't like to waste any food. Since I make a lot of soups and stews, all leftovers go into the freezer with these containers. They work great in the microwave, and freezer. I highly recommend them!

I wanted to love these storage containers as they are the perfect size and seemed like they would be durable. The bottom portion seems to be pretty sturdy. Unfortunately, the tops crack easily. I had stored some individual portions of rice in the containers and 2 of the tops cracked the first time I opened the container.
