Gonex Compression Packing Cubes for Travel, Mesh Bags Luggage Organizers

I love these packing cubes! One of the reasons I chose this set was the extra-small cube, which measures about 7.9 × 5.9 inches. It’s so hard to find that size in other sets, and I wanted something to keep smaller items together without using a bigger cube than I needed.I’ve used these on four trips since buying them, both domestic and international, ranging from an overnight stay to two weeks. They’ve held up really well! The variety of sizes makes it easy to organize everything and choose the right cube for what I’m packing. I also love the mesh tops so I can see what’s inside, and the compression feature helps make the most of the space in my suitcase.They’re so convenient for packing and finding things once you’re on your trip. I’m actually thinking about buying another set just to have another one of those extra-small cubes!

I have used this set of packing cubes for several trips, including 6 weeks in Europe. Also have two sets of Gonex packing cubes that are solid material (not mesh). I prefer the mesh as they unzip to full open whereas the solid only unzip on two sides plus a little, which makes it necessary to "stuff" things in rather than just lay them on one side and zip the other over it. Medium sized are the most useful. Very large don't fit as well in carry-on. I would not travel without these, both because of compression to get more into a carry-on, but mostly because it organizes....much easier than loose clothes and seems to minimize wrinkles (which is a bit counter intuitive). Oldest set I have is 4 years old and no issue with durability. These are amazing for bulky ski gear....I can get my entire kit...parka, pants, layers, etc. into boot bag with compression cubes that would be impossible otherwise.

Good for organization but I don't think they did much to compress my stuff in a way that shoving my suitcase shut wouldn't have also accomplished. I did absolutely stuff them though. Zipper held up. So that's good.

The photo I provided is of the largest cube that comes in the set. I fit TEN pairs of jeans in there! The other cubes get smaller in size from this one. There's 2 sized a little smaller than this big one in the photo that were perfect for all my shirts, shorts and dresses and then 2 much smaller ones that I used for socks and underwear. I brought 3 dresses, 4 pairs of shorts and about 20 shirts on my trip to give you an idea of how much I fit in those 2 bags and the one I used for underwear held 20 with room for more. I only packed about 5 pairs of socks as I wore sandals most of my trip so that little bag had tons of room left for more stuff. The set also comes with a laundry/shoe bag. I used it for my dirty laundry as I have other shoe bags I used, but it could be for either and is quite roomy. Combined all the cubes held all my clothes for a 2 week trip and kept everything so nicely organized and left my luggage with so much more room for shoes and other items I needed. Typically when I travel I end up having to pack and repack multiple times to make everything fit, but having these cubes made it so much easier and I fit a lot more than usual. It was nice to know exactly where everything was during my trip as well, rather than pulling everything out of the luggage to find the one item I wanted. I visit multiple destinations on a trip so am never in one place for long where I would unpack my suitcase, and these bags made it so easy to just grab what I needed quickly without making a mess out of the rest of my luggae. They are made really well and the zippers are strong and really hold up to being packed full as possible. I stuffed them with a lot and thought there would be no way they were going to compress without ripping or breaking a zipper, but they all did perfectly! Also, despite how much I crammed into each one I never needed an iron on my trip! My clothes stayed amazingly wrinkle free. I would definitely recommend!

Love, love, love these packing cubes. I love them so much I have three sets of my own, and highly recommend them to everyone I know who travels. I am a true believer in the Gonex brand.Unlike my travel companion who hates cubes and can never find anything in her suitcase, I am a true believer in cubes. With a cube, my stuff isn't rattling around in my bags, and I don't need to paw through everything to find what I want. Everything is very organized, and I can pack and unpack in a flash - after all, I never want to keep that hard won vacation waiting any longer than absolutely necessary).What makes these cubes special (and I have had others, all of which have gone to Goodwill at this point): the mesh top allows me to see enough of what is inside the cube that I don't need to guess, the cubes compress very nicely, and the zippers have all held up to A LOT of abuse over my many trips.

These packing cubes have made organizing his school clothes, shoes, jacket, Nintendo Switch case, and personal items a breeze, ensuring everything has its place and is easy to find.The durability of these cubes stands out, especially considering the frequent use by a busy and active pre-teen. They've held up well so far, showing no early signs of wear and tear. The zippers are sturdy and easy for him to use.The compression feature of these cubes is great. It's impressive how much we can fit into each cube, especially his bulkier items like jackets and sneakers, and then compress them down to fit snugly in his luggage bag. This has allowed him to carry all he needs without having to send more bags due to space constraints.The assortment of cube sizes is ideal for his varied items. Excellent way to organize and reduce the size of a pile of clothes. BUT you have to understand what these are and are not. Use them right, know they don't pack quite as tight as plastic bags, and you'll probably decide this is the better way to travel. The Gonex packing cubes are NOT plastic bags with one way vents that you squeeze, roll or (gently) lie until virtually all the air is squeezed out. And because they're not of plastic, they won't fail in a distant hotel when you discover a hole in the plastic. That's what they're not.What the Gonex cubes are is a set of 5 packing cubes such as you already may have. There is a zipper around the top to stuff items in. PLUS there is a second, lower expansion zipper (a gusseted zipper) as on suitcases that expand by 1-2 inches. Do this:* Undo the zipper and the packing cube roughly doubles in height.* Stuff in as much as you can. Too little and you won't compress enough. Too much and you won't get the zipper to work.* Close the top zipper.* Start to close the lower zipper. Lean on the bag or push it down to compress the clothes. You may have to stick a finger between the zipper and the excess nylon fabric that wants to get caught in the zipper, especially going around corners.After a half-dozen trips, I've gotten proficient at stuffing in clothes and getting each bag closed. I found the two middle sizes to be most useful. The biggest one just barely fits in a carry-on suitcase.Bottom line: All works well except the hassle of getting the zipper closed. It compresses almost as tightly as a plastic bag bit without the chances of failure from a sharp object poking through. You pack so tightly that your concern with air travel is not getting enough clothes in the suitcase, but with having a suitcase too heavy to check without a heavy-bag fee.The Gonex Compression Packing Cubes are one of the nicest travel accessories I've seen.[Yes, I bought the product. These use generic cheap zippers from Gonex brand. That is how they saved money and compromise on quality. Don't ever purchase anything with zippers that are not from YKK (look up both brand names on the internet and you will find out why).UPDATE: The seller proactively reached out to me to offer a full refund. They did not ask me to change the review. I think that is a great customer service. Also, for the price (I paid about $20 on sale) these are not bad if you don't try to use the compression zippers. Those can very easily catch the thin material, which will happen frequently when you try to compress the contents of the bags which, by design, will result in the bag material being pressed against from the inside.

Found these really useful when packing. Having everything in one place make life easier when traveling. It mean that I know where to find items on arrival without having to look though the entire suitcase.I also used them for storage when not travel. (Shout out for the make up bag) its a little TARDIS). It holds a lot of make up products

These compression packing cubes are excellent!! Light weight & easy openings with expandable sides. I used them this summer on our trip & it kept everything organized and compact. There are so many cubes & all different sizes. Unpacking was a breeze, knowing that everything had its own space & easy to find things. I used one for our medications & found it so much easier having it all in the one bag. Would definitely buy more of these!
