Since the beginning, January 3rd 2009, when Nakamoto mined the starting block of the chain, known as the genesis block, we all knew hardware and software wallets were susceptible to hackers and now backdoors to user passwords, which is what ultimately lead me to research alternative wallet service providers and found Ballet in February 2023. I was always intrigued by paper wallets and the idea to have 100% control of my assets instead of relying on third party services. But then there was the naysayers on YouTube and Reddit (mostly affiliate mouthpieces from hardware and software wallet companies) that gave paper wallets a bad name. Then Ballet revolutionized the already existing idea behind paper wallets by applying on beautiful metal cards, encrypted private keys, tamper-evident scratch-offs and stickers, Ballet logo and seals, serial numbers, ultraviolet Invisible Ink, and we can’t forget that QR code sticker coated with a substance that releases a special Ballet fragrance when scratched gently. With all that security in mind, the founder and CEO Bobby Lee (not the comedian😂) is a world recognized name with huge success as CEO of China's first cryptocurrency exchange BTCC, vice chair of the board of the Bitcoin Foundation, VP of Technology at Walmart, China e-Commerce, CTO and SVP at BesTV New Media, Shanghai Media Group (SMG), Director of Software Engineering at EMC, China Center of Excellence;Sr. Engineering Manager at Yahoo, Software Engineer (Internship) at Silicon Spice, Software Development Engineer (Internship) at Microsoft, and Software Research Engineer (Internship) at International Business Machines. His education alone far exceeds my expectations, so no need to discuss. Let’s not forget he’s also the brother of the great Litecoin founder Charlie Lee. My point is, I chose Ballet based on doing my on research, and with Ballet’s mission to make self-custodial crypto ownership easy and safe for everyone, I chose them over ALL available options because safety of my assets are priority. The Lee brothers have footprints all over the internet and are very easy to find with little research. In fact, I’ve found real estate owned by both brothers in US and China. These two are about as transparent as they come, unlike the many faces hiding behind them supposedly reputable hardware and software wallet companies. My entire life has focused on being able to hold ppl accountable for their actions/mistakes, and that’s what makes me sleep better at night knowing accountability is within arms reach. The United States along with other countries are cracking down on exchanges, pushing for regulation, handing out hefty prison sentences for scammers, in preparation for the big ETF explosions that will change everything for the good. I’m just another Ballet customer not paid to say anything mentioned above, just wanted to share my experience thus far with Ballet, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to absolutely anyone. Ballet is an obvious no-brainer, for ANYONE wanting to store crypto safely and securely. If you could see my 💰💰💰💰💰of crypto stored on Ballet cards, you would understand my trust for Ballet over ALL.😎

Very easy to set up

These wallets are really cool. A great way to store your private keys! They have a great look and feel to them and come with a clear plastic case. The gold plated versions arrive in a very nice block of clear Lucite for display. It adds a really nice touch, worthy the value of the asset!The app is super easy to use. Transferring crypto in from other wallets or exchanges is a breeze.The company is adding the ability to purchase crypto directly through the app. It's a new feature may require some patience. I had some technical issues with the services they've partnered with for buying crypto but the Ballet customer support was responsive and released an update for the app in a couple days that resolved the issue.Overall, I love these wallets and I think Ballet is dedicated to providing a great product and experience. I've been showing them off to my crypto friends and I'll also use them to encourage others to join the crypto space!Nice job Ballet! Keep it up!

Looks cool. Definitely solid construction. Not sure how to use it. Instructions not clear. Maybe overthinking, but I’m transferring a lot of $$. Need to now it’s not being released into the abyss.

In the same way your checkbook is secure in a desk drawer or briefcase, e.g., don't lose it!, this novel crypto wallet seems to be secure without passwords or other hindrances. Although 1 wallet will accept (almost) any type of crypto coin, the coin stamped on the card it the "primary" coin. I purchased 4 wallets (BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC) to hold each coin type and provide a bit of security against loss or compromise by spreading the coins between 4 different wallets.The app works well, is intuitive, and the "gas" and coin-to-coin "exchange" fees are far cheaper than I've experienced with internationally known web exchanges.

1. To buy crypto on this exchange they do not give you the same token price as the big exchange platforms2. The few credit card processing companies they use (Transak, Moonpay, Simplex) really rip you off!!! They charge 10% & higher for processing fee on the transaction3. Ballet card also charges you a huge fee for every transaction! I paid $125 on a 2,000 purchase, in addition to the $200+ to Teansak for the cc transactionI wanted a safe place to hold crypto off the internet and exchange platforms. I also wanted something simple that didn’t need to be charged, have batteries or chips that could be fried. Hopefully it will serve this purpose well of “holding”. However, I’m expecting absorbent fees will also be applied at the point I decide to sell.

I saw the demo at CES 2020 and was immediately sold. I have a Ledger Nano for most of my crypto currency, but wanted a paper Ledger-like form as well for some cryptocurrency. This is about as cool as it gets for a paper Ledger alternative! The card is about twice as thick as an Apple Credit card and has raised lettering off the surface; very high quality. It also comes with an acrylic holder. It’s also very easy to use. I downloaded the app, scanned the QR code sticker on the front of the card, and it was added to my list. I opened up CoinBase and sent to the QR code on the sticker, and by time I switched apps, the money was there. Sending money requires you to use the QR code under the top QR code sticker (how you receive money). Sending money also requires the wallet passphrase on the card. You are able to activate multiple currencies per card, but I have not done this yet. If you want something that is faster than the login of a typical Ledger for normal transactions, this is analogous to a credit card.

I only recently finally got into crypto, XRP to be specific. This was a VERY easy process, and I definitely feel better having my keys in my hands now instead of coinbase. Would 100% recommend to small investors or newbies.
