2 Zone Dual Source Speaker Selector with Individual Volume Control by AVX Audio

I have several of these for my 5.1 system feeding two rooms. They are well built, the binding posts on the back are solid and the unit performs flawlessly. Each volume control in adjusted in steps so you can match the volumes on more than one by counting the steps. (probably 10 or so positions.) I was concerned because there was only a single review but this is a great unit and probably much better than switches alone.

Well made and easy to set up. Continuous volume control would be better than the step control. Speaker volume reduced significantly vs. direct connection even if volume at max.

Worked great for balancing the sound between my outside speakers and the ones in my patio. Many complaints online about the click volume control but for me it works perfectly. I guess people need something to complain about even with a superior product. The installation was very easy as long as you can handle wire cutter and wire strippers.

It works sort of, the sound is reduced when both sets of speakers are turned to the on position.

Works as advertised. Exactly what I needed.

After a couple of months using this I have to say that I am very pleased. It is working flawlessly. I am using it to control two sets of speakers off a receiver, one set inside and one set on the patio. It was simple to set up and looks very nice next to the receiver.

Junk pos. Speakers crackle and volume sucks when hooked up to this. Wanted to use this to separate basement speakers from living room but won't work. Volume cranked on both my receiver and this pos and can't hardly hear it and it's distorted. Plugged back into stereo and quality sound was back. This thing is useless.

Bought this to balance to sets of speakers. It's a little tricky to wire but once that's done it works great. Continuous knob control instead of stops would be better but it does the job.
