Proper tool steel, not made of cheese like i was expecting for the price. a real bargain.The only thing that stops me giving them 5 stars is the factory grind was abit wonky on the cold chisels. Had to redo it myself.Also i wish they didn't have the amazon basics logo on them. Really great set but when your engineer friends see the "Basics" logo they will secretly judge you and assume they are rubbish.

Cheap and as for the material this are sturdy well made. Many for different applications in nice pouch, if needed do not hesitate!
