Does anyone know if this is compatible with asus maximus extreme xii?

It's not on the QVL, but the speed and 4 X 32GB configuration are supported. I bought it for the same board. Sadly, I can't find the processor I want outside of the reselling jerks on that auction site.

I may be overlooking, but is this quad channel memory? Or does that not matter anymore?

I don’t think it matters anymore. It depends on you Motherboard and what you are setting it up for. If it is for Video Editing or game of just basic work, you could simply check online for your specific setup and what Memory Configuration is required for optimum performance. I hope this helps

Will these work with an asus rog maximus x hero wi-fi since the recent bios update to support 128gb??

Don’t listen to them this kit will not run at 3600mhz with xmp it won’t even post at anything above the 1000mhz base 2133 i have scoured the internet and can’t find a single person with proof of this 128gb kit booting at any reasonable speed even close to what ir should run at
