Rockboard Midi Cable, 30cm / 11.81" Blue

This cable works great - here's my long review, but I hope it's helpful for any guitarists out there!Check your midi inputs/outputs first: because it is a right angle adapter you need to make sure it will work with your intended pedalboard setup first. You see, the plug will protrude from the right side (pins down) on one end of the cable, and protrude from the left side (pins down) on the other side of the cable. (So its A-symmetrical if you "fold" the cable in the middle). That means, for my BOSS DD-500 for instance... one end of the cable will not go into the "input" because the right angle of the midi cable will block the 9 volt power in. Luckily, the other side of the midi cable worked (because again, they're A-Symmeterical).But definitely worth 5 stars.. the build quality is excellent and the fit was perfect. In fact... I had a no-brand midi cable I was previously using that I got at a local Music-Go-Round. Plugging into a Disaster Area "Midi Box 4." The off-brand midi cable kept jiggling loose from the slightest vibrations (such as stomping on a guitar pedal). At first I thought it was the midi box 4 having a poor soldered connection. However, after seeing how the Rockboard midi cable fit so snuggly, I can tell it was actually the off-brand midi cable that was the trouble! Now my cable fits snug, doesn't jostle loose, feels like a durable cable, looks pretty, and was a decent price! 5 stars!

This cable arrived as expected and works perfectly. However, do check that the angle of the cable to the plug is correct for your application. Unfortunately, I had to buy another cable but still kept this for a future application.
