This was neat kit. I used to install on the hitch of my Honda Pioneer. It should be noted that it was not made for this purpose so I cannot knock it for not fitting with out some ingenuity. What I can say is the lights are nice and bright (probably too bright for reverse lights) the wiring is decent silicone wire with a good thick protective sheath. It comes with a relay, fuse and decent rocker switch as well. I cut all this out as I wired these into my existing reverse light circuit but it did seem well made. The mounting hardware and other hardware were all present but of mediocre quality so I would recommend painting after installation and probably using a thread locker.Since I’m using as reverse lights I’m not worried about heat but they do have nice cooling fins on the housing.I dropped a star because they didn’t come with instructions even though there are instructions in the description and it’s common sense (for me atleast) to install. I feel most people would want the comfort of instructions.Again I had to shim this to fit properly on the Honda pioneer. They have measurements in the description make sure you measure before you purchase

Mine came in a plain cardboard box. No instructions, and missing hardware to mount the lights to the bracket. It did come with a pretty massive wiring harness, but it didn't seem to be the correct one. I also found out that none of the tow hitches on my vehicles were compatible with the bracket. (There was a warning to check clearances before ordering) So off to the hardware store for hardware, wire splices a trailer lights plug and hitch box extender. I used a section of the supplied wire harness, and connected the plug to the lights. When used with the hitch extension and plugged into the trailer outlet, I now have awesome backup lights that can be transferred to other vehicles if I want.

Update: Although they came with no instructions I figured out how to tap them into reverse lights watching YouTube video. These lights work well and are really bright.Wow these came with absolutely no instructions what so ever!!! Considering I wanted these to come on with my reverse lights I have no idea how to rig these since they are particularly hooked up to a light switch. Also came with butt connectors on wiring harness but not on lights that they attach to??? Will be returning.

Only issue I had it was very tight fitting on my standard reese hitch mount. It is very tight and will not move. But I had to pound the brackets in place, but it maybe better to have it a little loose and maybe add some rubber mounting to help put it on easier. other then that great product.

Whatever wiring harness you get is random/ luck of the draw. Got all the way through the easy install, had to troubleshoot the install and found out the switch was faulty. Ordered a replacement what came with a entirely different wiring harness and switch so it wasn’t as easy as just swapping out the switch. But, it’s finally working although the second switch/harness says “light bar” instead of “rear (or) utility” lights.

I used the reverse light circuit to trigger the relay to activate the lights under my bumper. I couldnt use the hitch mount so i just bolted them to my bumper struts

I like the product, but i give one start because the wire. I have 2008 Silverado 1500 extended cab, I buy 20 foot extension cord (2x10) and even with the extension can’t install, the wire its so shorter. I don’t know how much will be the final cost for this light, no worthy.

Installs fast and is very bright. If you pull a camper as I do, it is a little hard to get chains on with lights installed and also the hitch mounted. But a great product for hooking up to trailer at night and working around the camp.

Please note, this will not fit your hitch if you have an USCAR 7 connector with a curtis bracket as shown.You will have to decide what you want, the USCAR 7 bracket, or the lights. That, or you will have to come up with a custom fitment for the lights.The wiring is also too short to fit a dodge journey; it is getting returned as a result.Other than that, it is of good quality build just did not work out for me with the additionals that I had put in place; unfortunate.That, and the wiring is way too short to fit a Dodge Journey.

Bought for 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU.Need some modification work for the mount. Quite a bit of grinding filing to make it fit with big metal loop under the hitch which gets into the way for the mount.Wiring harness are for front light. For the rear back up light was way too short. So cut it out the rally directly hook with rear light with fuse. Worked just fine.Super brighter than OEM backup light.

The lights are great. The mount works well. The switch is good.That being said; I'm not sure who they think will be installing this apparatus, and in what vehicle, but a 10 foot harness is not suitable not appropriate. I couldn't wire this onto a Prius let alone a pickup truck with the supplied materials.If you buy this, you'll need to supply a fair bit of your own wire.

Bought for a birthday gift for my brother, I did open package for review and everything was packaged neatly, nothing broken, very high quality LED light pods, we hooked them up to a 12V power source for jumpstarting cars and WOW! Brighter than your vehicle high beams! The hitch bracket is high quality powder coated gloss black. Screws & bolts look to be stainless, doubt they'll rust. The wiring package looks well laid out but short, if your wiring this into an extended length pickup truck with extended cab I doubt it'll reach from hitch to battery but for the average vehicle it looks sufficient. Overall highly satisfied!

Lights themselves are nice.Mounting bracket will not fit every hitch, does not fit my Tacoma as the rear bumper is too close to the hitch.Wiring harness is hilariously short, why not just give us a trailer light adapter?Quality feels nice but execution leaves something to be desired.
