Tasty
I enjoy kimchi. Finding a good packaged type can be difficult. These packets are a bit pricy but buying in bulk saves a significant amount of money. At an average of under 2 bucks each, this makes an excellent quick snack/meal. The packets are small so emptying one on rice or ramen is the perfect add on for a single meal. Convenience and freshness in an easy open pouch. Great to have in the pantry

The real deal
You either like Korean Kim chi or you don't. If you don't, you need not read this. But if you do, let me tell you that Jongga Kim chi is the real deal, just like mom used to bury in the backyard. It's got good flavor, a nice, midrange spiciness, and a wonderfully crunchy texture. I ended up eating the whole full can before I knew it. One caution: the pull top does not come off easily. I used pliers to remove it. Be careful! But do not let that stop you. This cabbage is worth the trouble!

Pretty good
I like the size. I can eat the whole thing in one sitting. It's not as flavorful as I was expecting. I don't do spicy well but this is not even spicy by my standards. But it is tasty and hopefully has the good probiotics in it that I'm looking for.

Pretty tasty
I enjoyed this Kimchi though it could have been a bit spicier. That's fixed easily enough with some red pepper. It probably could have used a little more crunch but overall the flavor and texture were there. I used it as a part of a Korean Barbecue bowl I've been making. Would buy again.

Jongga can do better
Jonnga makes some really good varieties of kimchi, unfortunately this is not one of them. This comes in shelf-stable pouches, meaning it's pasteurized, meaning it's been cooked. It tastes like mildly spicy vegetable soup. Will not be buying again.

Won't purchase again
Seeing the 4 star reviews, I bought this. It tasted nothing like the delicious kimchi I buy at the nearby Korean restaurant and at the mall. I had a few bites and couldnt force myself to eat anymore.

Pretty good but not 3 servings.
The flavor is good, not too spicy. Good mixture of firm and soft pieces. Overall it’s good.Only thing I have to laugh at is that the package says “about 3 servings” 🤣! I have a whole bag when I eat it.

The "mild"one with carrots isn't very good, tastes boiled.
This was my 1st try with Jongaa brand kimchi. I got the "mild" one that has "extra carrots", in the packets. It's by far the worst kimchi I've ever had, compared to the many Korean restaurants in my city, and the jarred, refrigerated kinds at the grocery store. Has a strong taste and texture of boiled carrot/cabbage soup, with some, decent Kimchi flavor. Kimchi isn't normally cooked, it's just fermented but this is cooked, probably so it can be "shelf -stable", in cans or packets. The flavor isn't terrible, its just not great. It would be okay for camping, if you have limited fridge space or prepping for a blackout, but for everyday use, I'd strongly recommend the kind of kimchi that you find in glass jars in your grocery's fridge.
