I have these shirts in multiple colors. I like the denim color the most, just like a pair of faded jeans. The black is very black, and the blue is very dark, almost like a washed out black. Burgundy is nice, the green and tan are okay but look more like uniform work shirts color wise.The shirt is cut well, some shirts in this category are shapeless. They don't wrinkle, just fold or hang up out of the dryer, like blue jeans.The material is heavy, like thick denim and will hold up in the field. It can be a bit hot during the summer.Important for me is the shirt tails are the right length to stay tucked in. I am six feet, 189 lbs. and a size large is perfect. I prefer a shirt with a button down collar and long sleeves, with the sleeves rolled up and tails tucked in.I also like having two sturdy pockets and a pocket for a pen or pencil. Saves me from loosing my pen when I bend down for something.Like the headline says for me these are perfect and check every category. Button down collar, wrinkle free and comfortable, well tailored, good colors, two pockets, very durable for trade work but also look good for casual wear, and shirt tails that stay tucked in!

For reference - like my father before me and his father before him, I am built like a beer keg with arms and legs. My torso is very broad with some extra cushioning, while my arms and legs are lean and muscular. Did I mention I'm relatively short? All this make buying clothes that fit right a huge pain. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this shirt from RIGGS.Quality:Good quality for the price. Just based on the look and feel of the fabric, seams, etc., I would say this seems to be very durable, although perhaps not quite as high quality as Carhartt's twill work shirts. All the same, I think this shirt should be able to take a beating and keep on... well, not much of anything, its a shirt. But it will keep the sun off your back and the wind off your arms.Fit:As I mentioned above, finding shirts that fit is a chore for me. I usually fall between a large and X-large in button-up shirts. Out of the box, this fit a tad big in the body and long in the arms, but it was acceptable. After a single wash, this the shirt shrank just a little bit, but enough to make it fit exactly like I wanted. Enough room to move and work, but not hugging at my embarrassing man-curves. I have very broad shoulders and this fit well there too. I have a muscular chest and "ample" beer belly, and this fit comfortably over both without being too big. Length is enough to tuck in and stay in for me, but I am on the shorter side, so YMMV. The length is also short enough that I can wear it untucked and not look like I'm wearing a skirt.For comparison, another option you are likely considering is Carhartt's twill work shirt. I found the Carhartt shirt to be much larger than this shirt in every measurement. If you wear a large in the Carhartt, you might want to size up in the RIGGS.Appearance:It is a work shirt, so fashion comes second to purpose; however, I think this looks pretty good on me. I wouldn't wear it to date night, but I wouldn't think twice about wearing it to "the Wal-Marts" if I'm in the middle of a project and need to grab more supplies. It could also be a nice casual shirt on cool fall or mild winter days.Conclusion:I highly recommend this work shirt, especially if, like me, you find the Carhartt work shirts to be unsatisfactory. Also, the price on these is hard to beat.

Exactly As Advertised, Exactly What I Wanted! I am a 6 6 year old retiree with plenty of shirts in the closete and not prone to excitement. Like the title says, I put it on and it felt so good, I really did not take it off for around 48 hours! I sometimes lazily fall asleep in my day shirt especially if it is so comfortable and wrinkle free. It IS heavier than other brands so called "work shirts" or "industrial shirts," but not too heavy, not a jacket. IT was delivered soft, not starched - acompletely broken in feels. It will be great as a house, task, repair and garden work shirt.I got the Antique Blue color, always loving blue, but also in my later years developing some red/gren color blindness and a weird darkening of my sight. This blue strikes a great balance of being bright and cheerful enough to be pleasing and not get lost in the gloom of my closet, while still being very tasteful and not too bright at all. A real keeper!

I know that everyone has a different shape and size, so our choices may be different. I find the construction of these very comfortable and fit me well providing plenty of movement without binding. The material is nicely rugged and softens up with washing. The colors are definitely utilitarian and are fading a bit with washing, but as they are work clothes, its all good! I expect these will be too warm in summer, I'll find out soon enough.Whoever sewed the buttons on my black one didn't do as well as the other three I bought, but aside from that I am quite satisfied and can recommend them as a better priced alternative to other work-oriented brands .

I bought two Wrangler shirts at the same time, one Denim, and this one, both XL. The Denim fit perfectly, this one I was swimming in it. Not sure how that could happen from the same company but it did. Secondly, the sleeves starting just below the shoulder to the elbow where HUGE, it was like wearing a "puffy shirt" (see Seinfeld reference) and I get it you are selling this as a work shirt, but unless the guy has massive arms like the Rock this will not look good on the average guy.

This is the shirt that I have been looking for, button down collar, long sleeve, two pockets (no flaps), button down shirt, (not snaps), long enough that it does not come untucked. My only concern is the material is not as heavy as what I would like. Other than that the shirt is great. I will be buying more.
