KnuKonceptz 4/8 Gauge in Line Mini - ANL Fuse Holder with Fuse

Item arrived early. I like this fuse holder. The company not only makes a quality product, but it's the only one that states the fuse holder can hold different fuses. That was the selling point for me. And even though I purchased the wrong fuse size, I am able to switch to a higher ANL fuse and make things work.

Well made and awesome price for a mini ANL fuse holder. The cover fits tightly and yet is easy to take off for changing the fuse. The metal ends work as designed to hold the cables, no problems at all. The fuse that comes with it isn't the greatest, but hey... it was free, so I see it more of a bonus... and it does work. But you'll probably want to buy and carry some extra fuses with you anyway, so no big deal at all.I'm not sure of the waterproof claim in the written description. I mean, there's no silicone seal on the cover. I'm not going to test it by submerging mine in water either. I'd say it's water/splash resistant, but probably not waterproof. Not trying to split hairs here, but just giving a heads up for those folks who want super accurate details.In the end, this is a fantastic deal and does the job. For the price and quality this fuse holder deserves 5 stars.

It seems like a good holder. However when tightening the set screws you have to hold backup so as not to break the block off.

Feels heavyweight as in "good quality." Got it installed very quickly. Easy remove cover . Uses hex socket screws to secure the electrical cable and fuse.I like the shape of it and ease access to replace the fuse."I'm using 4 ga. wire and it worked perfect. Comes with reducer sleeves for the next smaller size wire.I'm pleased with it.

If you don't mount this on something that is perfectly flat, like down to 100 microns, forget about the cap fitting on this thing. Best part is you won't find out until its mounted up and wired. Seriously, even if you had it sitting on a piece of angle iron the top probably still wouldn't stay on because the screws you used to hold it down will tweak the plastic just enough that the clips on the cap won't engage. I had to use 2 zip ties to keep the cap on as shown in the picture. Buy something else. There are plenty of in line fuse holders (agu and anl) that are better, and cheaper even. Since it functions as a fuse holder it gets 3 stars, but the first time I have to service the fuse, this thing is going straight into the trash.
