What a tool. I wish I’d known these existed years ago. It removed blind circlips easily. I have struggled for years.

Good quality and so many more uses than what they are intended for. Though they are indeed very good for what they are intended for.

I have stripped the gearbox of my Renault Master and having tried every set of circlip pliers and various bodges I found nothing would touch the snap rings on the shafts. Trying to wedge srewdrivers etc. behing the rings looked like it would do some damage along the way. These pliers are long enough to get good leverage on the clip and spread it properly to enable it to be removed in one go. It will still slip if you don't get everything properly lined up but it's so much easier. They really saved me a lot of frustration. I would have preferred a better locating position for the clip but for the price they got the job done, the quality is good for occasional use and I am happy with them.

Having tried to remove c clips with circlip pliers this was like a gift from heaven. No more slipping, simple effective tool.

I bought both sizes, not being sure if the small one is sturdy enough to remove the clip from my gearbox (VW 02Q). It would have been enough the smaller pliers, but is good to have both around in the future.

Pliers are as described and feel like they are very well built.

A well made tool useful for expanding snap rings to put in place on machinery. I used it to put a snap ring onto a car drive shaft prior to attaching a cv joint.
