Correct. Basically replaces the wired connection between your receiver and your sub. Does a very poor job, however. Would not recommend.

How long is the warranty?

I don't know but it is still working fine over a year later.

Can my subwoofer outputs on my receiver has stripped wire inputs, how will the SubCast connect to my receiver?

It will not. Requires plug in to connect.

Does that work with a soundbar

Yes it will as long as the sound bar accepts tbs input
