The worse thing about this pedal is trying to figure everything it does out! I'm not a huge digital guy but this thingwill do everything I need and unlike my old pedal board doesn't weigh a ton. I gig a lot and carrying this is much easier.

My Firehawk FX finally died after 8yrs so I moved on to this. I used this for worship music at church and it's proven to be very versatile, has all the amps and ffects you could ever need, and sounds awesome. If you're coming from a Firehawk FX, don't worry about the lack of XLR outputs. There are short TRS to XLR adapter cables that I bought on Amazon for $10 that accomplish balanced output without DI boxes. Excellent upgrade from the Firehawk because this has a smaller footprint and adds the extra functionality of Snapshots plus a computer based editor. Rock on!

Oh man, this thing is beautifully simple and sounds fantastic. As a rock/metal player, my favorite amps so far are the Archetype Lead, Placater dirty/clean, PV Panama, and Revv Gen Purple/Red. I think the only thing lacking on this unit is the cab IR’s. If you go get IRs from ML sound lab or Bogren Digital, you’ll be set!Pro’s:Sounds just like a helix.The interface on top is simple to use.The hum, Bias, and ripple parameters on the amps are great. Make the amps sound real!All effects are awesome.Can record wet and dry signals simultaneously.Can be used as an audio interface.Has an amp out to bypass the cab IR to amplify through power amp and cab.Can load 3rd party Cab IR’s.Con’s:Honestly, I think the software is bad but it’s needed for some recording settings.Cabinet IR’s are ok. Highly suggest 3rd party IR’s.Can not combine amps, cabs or customize in and outs. That’s what the helix does.
