Models Tank Crew Field Maintenance Set

I purchased the item in order to create a diorama with my 1/48 Tiger 1 tank I'm currently building. As I'm used to 1/35 scale, the smaller size in these figures to build and paint are probably going to be learning experiences. The details are fine for its smaller scale, especially the creases in the uniforms. But with the smaller scale, I expected that they would be not as detailed as their larger counterparts. As for the negative reviews, these are kits need glue and paints. Tamiya is mainly a model kit manufacturer. If you want finished ones from them, buy their Masterwork line. And the vehicles on the box art are not included, which is why they are not in the product description. All in all, another fine Tamiya product.

This is a great set of figures in 1/48 scale. This is basically a number of kits made by Tamiya in 1/35 scale but has been shrunk down to 1/48 so you get several kits into one. I found no problems gluing these parts together. The instructions are easy to read and follow. Since the scale is in 1/48, gluing the figures together took more patience than the 1/35 scale figures I'm used to building. Although I like this kit, I am a little disapointed in its quality. I recently built a Tamiya model tank in this scale and I was impressed with it's detail and quality. I expected this kit will be the same but it wasn't. The figures look ok but not sharp and detailed. The facial expressions lacked character; it look more like cheap mannequins you see in department stores. Despite this, I still like these kit and I would reccomend it.

1/48 models for a maintenance scene. Also the ammo boxes for tank or truck detailing. boxes look good around 88mm dio.

It was not good, because we thought that they were ready to play, but it took 3 days for assembling and it was boring for my son . Thanks

Kinda misleading, thought the tank was included. I should of read the details more closely.

I used these figures on a diorama of enemy combatants burying IEDs along a road. With a little putty and customizing of the figures, it turned out well.
