SmallRig is hands down my favorite brand for rigging my Sony FX3, a7RV, and a7SIII. The craftsmanship is top-notch—everything is so precisely machined and solid. Love this grip. It's a breeze to put it on and take it off especially with the built in hex key. I don't question this handle's integrity one bit, I have put together an entire rig and held it by this handle with no issues whatsoever. No loosening or movement at all. Also very lightweight, definitely won't be a big contributor to the overall weight of your rig. I highly recommend you add this to your setup.

my camera rig now feels solid and well-built. the handle adds great stability for handheld shooting and has multiple mounting points for accessories. Comfortable grip and easy to adjust for left or right hand.

Yet again fantastic quality from Smallrig. This bolts right to the side of the small rig cage around my iPhone 16 Pro Max making it awesome to carry and a wonderful weapon!

Good grip, build quality is nice and I’ve never questioned the sturdiness.It is a little annoying to mount and take off since the screws are tucked into a cavity, so keep that in mind when building out your rig on sight. Just wish it had some sort of quick release system on it.

I have quite a few different side handles for my different rigs and this one works great and is solid. It's very comfortable unlike some others I have. It attaches easily and stays in place. It also has quite a few mounting options for different accessories. Highly recommend!

I have had many other SmallRig side handles and this one did not disappoint. I was using their left side only NATO mount handle which is actually a lot heavier (which I liked) but it wasn’t able to move the mount up and down. Had to get an extra one when I’m filming so that HDMI holder can be placed and I don’t damage the cord. It is pretty light and very sturdy. After tightening it, it doesn’t move and can carry heavy load just on one side. I am always happy to get their products since their quality is really good. It’s worth the money and the investment.
