Nite IzeBiner MicroLock Stainless Steel - S-Biner with Locking Dual Sided Gates - Keep Keys Secure with Carabiner Key Holder - Black (2 Pack)

These are very handy little carabiner clips. I initially purchased a set of two Size #1 S-Biners as part of several different items I wanted to try out along with several other products in my search for the most suitable combination of rings and clips to organize my keys, and I've since added a selection of these S-Biners for various uses.What I've learned is that Nite Ize produces these S-Biners in various sizes and materials and finishes, each suitable for certain purposes. They're all well made, and in my opinion they are all a good value. I particularly like the locking models that are also available, both this small MicroLock size, and the larger SlideLock(see the models at the bottom of the listing below).This locking style S-Biner is particularly useful since it reduces the chance that something attached using this clip will become accidentally released, which is something I've had happen when using the non-locking style slip. This particular locking S-Biner is only available in the very small size, so for someone who wants the locking feature then the other locking style should also be considered since it's available in two larger sizes.After going through a mini research project of my own in order to both determine the relevant dimensions of the various sizes, as well as find the best listings for them on Amazon, here is a guide to simplify this process for others.IMPORTANT NOTES:- I've done my best to determine representative listings here on Amazon for each of these models. These are great little carabiners.The locking mechanism is very effective and pretty easy to use, and they feel extremely sturdy. They're a reasonable enough size for attaching to a keyring, but I wouldn't say they make a good keyring for keys to be directly attached, for instance. That's about how large they are.

The item received is just as pictured.I like that the clips feature a tiny security twist lock. Makes me feel more at ease while commuting with baggage. There are other colors available but I prefer black as it is a bit more undetectable at first glance (blends in with my zipper pulls). Recently, I gifted two separate packs to each of my siblings for their travels and they’re big fans.One downside that I can see is that the twist lock design may not be the most ergonomic for those with weak or less hand dexterity.

The locking mechanism made it easy to secure my keys, wallet, and small items to my bag, preventing them from being snatched in crowded spots like the metro and tourist attractions.Compact, reliable, and strong, these carabiners gave me peace of mind while navigating some of the busiest areas. Good little clips. These ones have the locking tab that is super nice. It's really strong and won't undo unless you want it too.You don't have to worry about your keys or whatever getting in clipped which was an issue with the older versions.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something to attach my keys to my wallet, but I wanted them to be quickly and easily removable while still be firmly on and fall off or be stolen off easily. These fit the bill perfectly! They are a nice small size like I needed, easy to put on and remove, but the lock mechanism makes them not fall off accidentally.

These are simple items, but there are some important points to keep in mind. The quality is excellent. I hang them on the buckles of my man-bag and briefcase, dangle them from a belt loop, and seem to find a new use for them every few days. There are all sorts of sizes, and there is one model that locks for extra security. Great for organizing keys and such. So helpful for fishermen and hunters that you will wonder how you ever got by without these handy clips. They are very well made and the price is great.

Sturdy but to small for my needs.
