Great Product for a Great Price
A little surprised to find how great this flute actually was when my first impressions were moderate. The Pan Flute is way bigger than I expected, and even the case itself is good quality and well worth the money. I'd say this is easily an $80 value and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a semi-professional Pan Flute. I bought this Pan Flute to record over some songs I make, in other-words I bought it for recording. And the Sound is gentle and rich, very clear, and I couldn't believe how easily I could record the Pan flute with a simple microphone set up.Great Deal! Fast Shipping! Worth More than you Pay for

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this melodic little flute
I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this melodic little flute. It is inexpensive, well made, light and relaxing to both play and listen to. First, I taught myself to make a decent sound on each pipe. Then, I lightly penciled in on the back of each pipe what the note was for that particular pipe. This is tuned to the key of G and you can play a lot of music in that key. A side benefit is I believe it built up my lung capacity because your lungs get a workout as you play. The case it comes in is colorful and protective. This is really what I was looking for in an instrument!

good quality, playable pipe
They look great and do work. I'm not a professional musician, so I can't speak to the quality of the tons it produces, except to say that it does produce them and they sound OK to me. I wanted a flute I could actually use, not one that was meant to hang on a wall. This one works! And the bag it comes in is nice. Quality was good, all my pipes are aligned and in the correct order and position; the binding is tight and feels like it will hold up well. Now all that remains is to really learn how to play and make this baby sing!

Maybe decent for the learner, but, that smell is bad.
This instrument plays reasonably well. It smells bad-- real bad. Whatever finish is on it, it's a bad choice. The tune is off a little, but, it is playable. Pan flutes often need tweaking. The contruction is not bad, overall. The case is the nicest part.

Big sound for smaller price
This instrument is well made with lovely tones. The beveled edges help with lip placement. Attractive case for carrying and protection is much higher quality than I expected. For a beginner or more experienced, this 13 pipe flute will reward you with beautiful sound. It was the second pan flute I purchased and still use it much today.
